  1. Hi David, thank you for your swift reply. The CPU and HD meters are both reading almost zero when it overloads. As for playing the project through, it just overloads any time I press play, and won't go for more than a second. Thanks again.
  2. Hi there, First of all, I'd like to apologise for joining the community and my first post being a request for help. It isn't usually how I get down, but I have a project due in a few weeks, and am at a complete loss. So, thank you for any help offered. I have been working on my current projects, consisting mainly of virtual instruments, with no problems for weeks. I finished my session last night, saved everything, no problems. Today, I open Logic to continue working, and after one second of playing anywhere in the project, I get the classic system overload message. It doesn't matter if the playhead is over an empty part of the project, if I turn off all my VSTs, all my effects, everything, I get that message. I thought it might be a problem with the specific project, so I started a new one. It was working fine. Yet, when I saved it, closed Logic, and opened it again, I get the same thing. I have, of course, gone through the usual fixes to a system overload issue (buffer size, etc). However, the it's happening even when the CPU usage is almost zero, so not everything is as it seems. The project due soon and I can't playback anything, so any help or advice that's offered is very much appreciated. Thank you!
