  1. Every time I open Logic or switch from project to project when working with multiple projects at once, Ultrabeat prompts me to locate a missing file which appear to no longer be on my drive. I have tried searching for it. How do I get Logic to stop Ultrabeat from prompting me to search for this file? It's super annoying and takes up my time to constantly cancel the message. I don't even wants to use the file it is searching for anymore.
  2. Gotcha, you're right about the boundary thing. I was trying to apply the fade to a specific part of the synth loop in the middle of it and apparently I cant do that in Logic unless I split up the file into separate parts so that there are more than two boundaries. Thanks for the help!
  3. I don't believe so. What I did was I exported a synth loop I made in the ES2 as an audio file, then I dragged the audio file from Finder into an Audio channel. I can do everything but apply fades to this audio file. I have tried this out in other projects as well with different audio files and I can't apply fade to any of them. If you need more information perhaps I can get a screen recording of these steps and send that to you.
  4. I'm trying to apply fades to a specific audio file in a song that I am working on and the fade tool is just not working at all. I have it selected to where it activates when I press the command button, but when I try to apply a fade literally nothing happens. It's like this when I try to use it on ANY audio file. What's going on with this? Anyone else have this issue?
  5. Just move everything from the "Bounces" folder into the folder you want it in.
  6. This is one of the most annoying things I’ve encountered in my short time as a producer. I’m missing an audio file from one of my favorite creations and it pisses me off. It literally just disappeared off my Mac. God knows why, but from now on I’m saving a copy of all audio files in my projects on an external drive.
  7. The EXS24 and Alchemy have good presets like this, you just gotta find them. Turning the cutoff down on some of them helps too. As said above, you could always make a soft pad with sine wave, maybe stack a couple on each other.
  8. Thanks, I will focus more on song structure in my future work. I am trying to make this project as original as I can so that is why you may notice strange things such as the evolving chord song. I did try to make Holographic Pt. 1 have a sort of percussive “flow” along with the evolving ambience but I can see how it might be too simple to be engaging.
  9. Hey everyone, I have uploaded my first EP to SoundCloud and YouTube. It's sort of a blend between ambient music, bass, and experimental electronic music. Give it a listen, like and follow if you f*%@ with me! [soundcloud] [/soundcloud] If there is anything you think I can do to improve my music please let me know as well, I consider all opinions and you won't hurt my feelings or anything by telling me what you think could be better. Thanks!
  10. You can find the bells in the EXS24 sampler or you can create them in ES2 by using a sine wave with low attack, mid sustain and decay with high release. Throw some reverb on there too.
  11. I didn't but I figured out what was wrong. It seems I was stuck in "find" mode. Took me a minute but I had to uncheck where it says "clear find". My problem is resolved but i'd still like to know what folder all of these instruments are stored in for future reference.
  12. I can't find any of the Logic Pro stock instruments for the EXS24 instrument aside from the ones I have already used in a project. When I try to search for them via Finder, it seems like they are all gone. I am unable to search for them in the EXS24 interface as shown in the picture, there is pretty much nothing under "Factory". How can I get these instruments back? I love the EXS24 and I can't imagine creating stuff in Logic without these instruments! Please help!
  13. Thanks, I completely forgot about the step-sequencer in Alchemy.
  14. Have you tried automating the rate parameter? Or perhaps you could use the project global tempo track to modulate (increase) gradually the playback. You could export the arpeggio from the Arpeggiator to a MIDI track (using Capture live performance buttons ) and tweak from there the notes you wish to be played back. Looping that region for the required repetitions needed. I haven't tried these yet, but I have recorded an example of me doing it with my hands on the keyboard. Is there a way I can post the audio file here so you can hear exactly what I'm talking about?
