  1. Update - it was a system setting on the model 12 that I didn’t know about that was set to only work on the first 2 channels. Not even sure why that setting exists, but that was the culprit. Thanks for all the replies
  2. I recently updated all my plugins, OS and firmware for the Tascam Model 12. I have the audio settings enabled correctly, privacy setting for microphone enabled for Logic, and Audio Midi setting set up correctly. When I play an instrument (I've tried synth and bass guitar on multiple inputs) the signal is registered on the model 12, but nothing on Logic. Tracks are record enabled, but completely non responsive to the audio signal. I tested the internal mic with out any issue. Output works fine both at a system level and with Logic. I've done multiple restarts including restarting the NVRAM by holding Option, Command, P, and R at power up. Nothing has worked PLEASE HELP! MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports Processor 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz macOS Ventura 13.6.4 Logic 10.8.1
  3. It's a different insert number, I didn't realize that would matter. So the insert has to be the same number?
  4. Hi, I'm copying automation data for a filter sweep on a single band eq from one track to another. Which should be an easy select copy & paste. However when I paste the data to the new track with the same plugin, it just creates a line of dots at the same value (127) on an unused automation lane. I can't seem to get the curve to paste onto the correct lane which should be frequency for the single band eq. Anyone experienced this, seems like a bug, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks
  5. Bummer, that was one of the most handy features, I used it all the time with drum loops/samples. I haven't bee able to find any equivalent way of doing the same thing
  6. I may be using the wrong terminology, but there was a feature in exs that would generate a midi region with the zones auto written as notes that would match to the original sample, It was under options on the right side of the ui
  7. The zones written as midi notes in the piano roll is what I meant, but mapped in the original rhythm of the sample
  8. No they are samplers that I made in logic, but I think it's the same feature? The samplers are .exs so they are loading into sampler just fine, but I can't figure out how to get the midi data to show in the tracks view as a midi region/piano roll.
  9. Hi, In the EXS24 there was a drop down menu titled option where you could 'extract midi data' resulting in the original sample to be written as midi in the piano roll. I'm not seeing this feature on the updated Sampler. I might just be missing something, but does anyone know how to access this feature in 10.5 via Sampler. I have lots of drum loops that I recorded and sampled into EXS and it's helpful to be able to have the midi piano roll of the original pattern. Thanks
  10. I am having an issue with running a Korg Volca Keys as an external instrument. I have a recently updated late 2013 MacBook pro with the latest OS and Logic updates. I have a Focusrite 6i6 as my audio interface and midi destination, with midi output cable into the Volca Key midi input and a M-audio Axiom 25 (1st gen) as a controller plugged in via usb to the computer. When I start a new project and create an external instrument, the controller works as expected, sending midi data to the Volca Keys. However when I do certain actions in Logic(for example hit the spacebar, solo or mute a track, or Quit) the external instrument is triggered playing different sustained notes that do not go away. I tried disabling all 3rd party plugins, but the issue is still there. Maybe this is a bug? I am at a loss... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
