How do i flash it ? And will it be much slower or be just the same ?

Hello i have a Mac Pro with 4 hard drive trays i want to install Operating system plus Logic X Also VST AU Instruments, with plug ins with Kontakt Libraries How should i set this up ? I think my drive is old now as i keep getting SYSTEM OVERLOAD (i have more 32 gigs of memory 8 core cpu) so it must be a hard drive issue i want to make a clean setup for Logic X 1st drive with OSX and logic x ? 2nd drive with VST,PLUGINS omnesphere and kontakt plus others (thinking of buying these very soon) ? if i install Omnesphere and other Vsts will i be able to just install part of the instalation on the 1st drive and the gigabytes on the second drive ? if i have alot of vst (i have collected many free vsts ) how will i be able to put them on my mac without filling up my 1st HARD DRIVE I hope this makes sense do you recommend SSD as the 1st drive and how big and which is a good model ? what size drive should the 2nd drive be that holds the vsts onnesphere kontakts etc.... ? 1 or 2 TB ?
