Hi all, I've come over over from Pro Tools HD & have been working in Logic this last month. I've always kept a copy Logic up to date, but am using it for paid client work now, rather than just personal projects. Two main things though still really confuse me, but maybe there is a work around/setting I'm not finding. 1) Can you show me how you achieve pre-fader (I.e Cue mix) sends *not* being affected by muting the channel? I'm running a 24 in/24 out interface at 32 samples buffer (thus using software monitoring) & Pre-fader cue sends to drive separate headphone mixes for live band tracking. As it stands, when I mute &/or solo a channel, the pre-fader/Cue sends gets muted too. This is not helpful, as I need them to work independently as they do in Pother DAW's. It makes (for instance) soloing an artist against a piano (whilst they hear the full mix) somewhat difficult, without extra bussing workarounds. Am I missing a setting? 2) Any bus naming I do, seems to transfer with each new project. Fine if its all my own projects, & I have a system worked out, but very confusing when loading in a client project. Is there a workaround/hack for this? Cheers Ru

Hi, any news on this feature? Am finding it a bit annoying too. Would just like show automation lanes without track resizing. cheers all ! (p.s not a new user, just couldn't get my old registration to work)
