  1. ooohhhhh maaann i didn't know you could combine daws together... There goes my weekend Thanks David!!!
  2. Hey guys! I got myself a 30 day trial for reason 10 and I had a project with 17 audio files on it... I was wondering if there was a way I could bounce all 17 of these audio files to 17 audio files on logic x all at once so that they all come through on time in the sequencer and everything? Hope that question makes sense! Best, Cazlyph
  3. Hey LPH! I'm trying to put in some automation for the volume fader, and I have succeeded in drawing in the automation. However, the volume fader doesn't change as the song plays, even though I am in "read mode" What's even more weird is that I have drawn in the "pan" automation, and that is being played just fine... Here's a screenshot of what my project looks like. I hope you lovely people can help out a fellow musician! Thanks!! Ryan
  4. oh wow omg I am so dumb hahaha. Thanks so much atlas And mr. anp, how does my signature look?
  5. Hey guys! Something fishy with my automation is going on and I can't for the life of me figure out why... If you'll take a look at the attached picture, you'll see the the tracks for inst 1 and inst 2 have no dropdown menu to show automation, even though inst 3 does have it. What's extra weird is that I've already written a volume automation for inst 1 and 2, and the automation still operates when the tracks are in "read" mode. In the piano roll section at the bottom of the screen, you'll see that the automation does appear when the automation button (next to "edit" "function" and "view") is engaged. This is a terrible drag on my workflow, so how would I make the automation dropdown on the actual tracks next to the midi regions appear? Thanks!!!
  6. YEEEAAAHHH!!! Thanks man! I really appreciate your guys' help, even just troubleshooting helped me learn a lot about how to think about the software and what I can do with it... Hope you guys make a lot of pretty music in 2018!
  7. my bad, this image... https://imgur.com/8hK4c1e
  8. I think it may have something to do with the settings in the "expert view" of the controller assignments...
  9. I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but I used the midi monitor in the control bar to check an unassigned knob, and it is indeed gradually going from 1 to 127. But as soon as I assign it, it starts jumping again... what a nightmare! The app itself is very basic, there aren't many settings. However I can see that the Left Value is set to 0 and the Right value IS set to 127
  10. Nothing shows up for either the unassigned knob, or even the assigned knob for that matter. The midi monitor shows both "no in" and "no out". Hmm, that's kind of funky considering that I can still turn the knob and still be jumping from -5000hz to 5000hz
  11. yup, same issue I got the parameter mapping and the external assignment working just fine, but when I turn the knob it jumps straight from -5000hz to 5000hz on the frequency knob. I'm using an iphone app called "knob lab" if you're familiar with it, but again I wasn't having this problem the first hour or so of using it. I checked the settings on the app itself, but there's nothing there that would mess things up. That's why I think I accidentally clicked on something weird, but I couldn't say for sure. All the same, I still learned something today! You are appreciated sir.
  12. Hey David! I've got the midi controller assignment all set up, the only problem i'm having is that when i turn the knob on my midi controller the parameter jumps from 0%-100% with no in-between. Any idea what's going on here? I'm sure it's just some silly setting under "controller surfaces" that I messed with by accident, but a lot of the jargon is a foreign language to me Thanks man!
  13. Hey guys, First post on here, glad to be a part of the community I'm having a slight problem with a midi controlling app on my iphone called "knob lab". I can assign the controller to the parameters that I've chosen with no issue, but when I turn the knob on my iphone the parameter on Logic "jumps from 0% to 100%". Obviously this is pretty annoying when trying to record automation, so I was wondering if any of you guys know how I can set it up so that I can fine tune the chosen parameter. BTW I wasn't having this problem at first, so I'm pretty sure that I did something stupid to mess it all up haha. Thanks!! Cazlyph
