  1. Hey Joachim, I do the same thing with a USB hub. One problem I did find is when I had my interface (Motu AVB ultralite) running thru the hub, I got a lot of popping sounds when playing any sounds with my controller, even while playing iTunes. I have since plugged the interface directly into my mac book and the problem has disappeared. I also find sometimes my external HD (hooked up thru the hub) that holds all my sounds and files sometimes disappears and I have to reboot everything for it to work again. Although this is a recent problem so I'm still looking into this problem. I hope that helps. 88keez

  3. Hi Triplets, Thanks for replying. Sorry it took so long for me to respond but I was away for awhile and then I was trying to figure things out on my own. I have found that EZ drummer is compatible with Logic X, but it's not showing up in Logic X on my iMac i7. I can open EZ drummer up as a stand alone, but it doesn't respond in Logic X. I can drag over drum patterns to Logic X from EZ drummer but then need to open up a different sound (Battery 3) for any sounds to be heard in Logic X. However, on my other Mac (Mac Book Pro), everything works fine. So not sure why it isn't showing up on my Mac 7. I'm using High Sierra 10.13.3 on both as my operating system. My system is as follows: iMac i7 (2009) for studio 2.8ghz Core i7 8 GB 1 terabyte Duet interface (2009) Mac Book Pro (2011) for live performance 2 GHZ i7 intel core 8 GB 500 GB SD external HD - G drive to store sounds Motu - AVB ultralite interface (2016) Any idea what it could be? I also think I have figured out why the sound on playback was suddenly disappearing. But sometimes my iMac i7 still sends a message of system overload. Do you think it still has enough power to run everything? I use Keyscape, Kontakt 5 and Arturia sound packages. Thanks for your help. 88keez
  4. Hi, I recently switched from Logic 9 to Logic X and am experiencing a few problems. 1) When playing a song in Logic X, at the song stops and a message appears saying there is a system overload, even if there is not a lot of data recorded. 2) The sound sometimes disappears using plug ins. (ie. Keyscape and Kontact 5) 3) My EZ drummer is not accessible in logic X, it was in 9, but not in X. Any help with any of these would be much appreciated. Thank you, 88keez
