  1. I wonder how this can happen in Replace Mode because as soon as you start recording in Replace Mode, the previously selected Region will be deselected anyway (so you will not see Velocity etc. in the Piano Roll's Automation Lane either)?
  2. Its beauty is that you don't have to use it, so if you think it's redundant for your workflow, just use TBA.
  3. Just try that when moving regions around a lot and look at your track automation afterwards... RBA is a lt more convenient in that case.
  4. Have you already reported this as a feature request via Apple's feedback page?
  5. That would require you to update the OS as well anyway because Monterey only supports Logic up to version 10.7.9
  6. The tracks are all assigned to the same channel strip, that's why their UI controls all move together. If you want a separate channel strip for each separated note pitch, I guess it's easiest if you duplicate one of the tracks e.g. by using the button and then move the regions to those new tracks.
  7. Just checked, this happens since 10.7.5 (in 10.7.4 the soloed & muted track's mute state stays as it is). Looks like a bug to me, you should report it to Apple via https://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro/
  8. The Gain plugin doesn’t even go to -Infinity dB, so automating the channel fader is much more appropriate here. The Gain plugin also doesn’t offer sample accurate automation BTW (although probably irrelevant for a fade-out at song end)
  9. Because the Juno doesn’t have Local Off (so what you play on its keyboard goes directly to its sound engine)
  10. As I wrote, the MIDI port (i.e., interface) your Yamaha Motif is connected to. It should appear in the list that pops up when you click on the MIDI destination popup button
  11. Hm, nothing that could cause it there. What about my other question?
  12. Maybe it doesn't even have one (the Juno 106 is a pretty old piece of hardware and I don't now much about it)? In that case this is the problem (it would always play everything you play on its keyboard, regardless of where the MIDI data it sends goes to)
  13. Well the MIDI Destination certainly shouldn't be "Off - 1" because that would mean the MIDI data goes nowhere. You should set the MIDI Port your Yamaha is receiving from here
  14. Also, could you post your Snap menu so we can compare settings?
  15. This is a bit fast TBH, but it looks like the mouse pointer is moving a bit as well after releasing it, just like the OP described it? Am I seeing this correctly?
