  1. That's why I’m advocating the “report all issues you find to Apple” approach, instead of the “just don’t open two projects at once” variant. They’ll not fix them if they are not aware of them I guess.
  2. *checks "expected comments on new Logic release" card* - Bingo!
  3. You gotta be quick here on this forum
  4. I tried in an unsaved new project as well
  5. BTW if you want to repeatedly cut a region at e.g. every whole bar, you can use the Scissors tool while holding the Option modifier, which will repeat the cut until the end of the region
  6. If the Marquee Tool (which would work equally as well as the Scissors Tool) is not an option (as you write), why would the Scissors Tool be?
  7. Have you made sure all grouped take folder have the same number of comps (Comp A, Comp B, etc)? Logic doesn't seem to like grouping Take Folders that contain different numbers of comps.
  8. Can't replicate this behaviour here. Could you post a screenshot video of this happening?
  9. 10.4.1 is a bit old for a new computer... wouldn't it be better to update Logic first?
  10. Strange, these three regions indeed don't seem to be "real" drummer regions anymore as they (as you already noticed) don't even open the Drummer editor, although they are still drawn like Drummer regions. Any idea what you could have done that has resulted in this state?
  11. I guess this will not be easy to track down without the samples. However, when I load some other Snare sample into the Quick Sampler instance on track 4, I don't get any unusual behaviour here. From the top of my head, some things to try: 1) could you bounce the snare track and share the resulting audio file here so we can actually hear the issue? 2) what happens when you put another region with at least one snare hit before the Snare region that shows this behaviour? Does the issue occur in that region instead then? 3) will the issue still be audible when you freeze the track?
  12. The only way I found to "fix" this is to completely delete Take 17 from the take folders. Afterwards, the project can be imported crash-free
