Hey All, I’m havign an issue getting any useable volume in my headphones when using a condenser mic plugged directly into my interface with phantom power engaged . I’m using a presonus two channel usb interface into Logic Pro. I have to put a heavy amount of compression and other effects just to get any volume, but at that point it’s alredy clipping, even with a gain set on the track to -18. When I used to use mixcraft on a Windows pc, I used the same mic and interface with no issues. All other instruments come through at normal volumes plugged into the same interface.

The track that has the gain available is a drum loop. The other where the gain tab isn’t there is a direct in guitar track.

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to logic and just read an article about setting the gain for each track/region. I tried doing it on a few tracks and the gain tab was there and I was able to adjust it. Now when I go to the same track or a new track, the gain tab is nowhere to be found. Any help on this? Ryan
