The Steinway piano sample seems to have what I can only describe as a “feedback” sound when the sustain pedal is played ON SOME NOTES. The same track played with the Yamaha or Bosendorfer samples do not have this, even though those samples load up in the channel strip with bus1 and bus 2 set to very slight amounts of effect. Has anyone else had this same thing appear or am I missing something in setting up the sample/control strip. I own a 7’ Steinway B so I have a reasonable understanding of what one should sound like, but I love the idea of using the sample rather than the actual instrument in my writing. I just want to get the included sample to sound its best. I will consider a third party sample only if the Logic one is just trash. Ideas are welcome.
