  1. Typically I'll select the tracks that I want to export, then choose the export selected tracks function and export based on the cycle range. It normally works fine but in this session when I go to the folder I exported them to there isn't anything there. I tried again and this time watched the target folder and I saw that temp files appeared there, but as soon as the export finishes they vanish. Occasionally a few will stick around but they are rarely the full cycle length. There have been a few times where in the same batch export I'll have a track that DOES export at the full cycle length but then a few that don't. I've tried a bunch of different export settings and nothing seems to be working so I'm soloing each track individually and bouncing the project for each which is really tedious. I have had this issue once before when I moved the start of the project to be before measure 1 and it messed up the time code or something, but the timecode is fine in this project and I can't work out why the export function is acting so inconsistent.
  2. Yes - once it was on the external hard drive I moved the folder a few times while reorganizing that drive.
  3. No I used the "Relocate Sound Library" feature to move it to my external hard drive. I worked that way for a while but when I moved the folder within my external hard drive logic lost it's connection to the folder.
  4. I re-located my sound library from my laptops disc to an external hard drive. That was smooth and seamless and i used Logic that way for a while. Recently I re-organized the drive that my Logic Sound Library is on and now Logic can't find the Sound Library. I want to "point" Logic to the new location on my external hard drive so that I don't have to download everything all over again but I'm unable to figure out how to do that. I did re-download the essentials so that I could continue working on a project and I moved that to my ext. drive. But as soon as I move that folder somewhere new in the ext. drive Logic can't find it. I've been able to move the sound library folder in the past without it being affected so there must be something I'm not understanding. So my questions are: - Can you just "point" logic to the sound library if you know you have it? - Once you do download and re-locate the sound library how do you move it and maintain Logics ability to find it?
  5. I use a Phonic Firefly 302+ with Logic Pro X 10.2.4 and I have been able to record audio with this set up fine for years. Yesterday I updated my Mac's iOS to 10.14.1 and now I can't get audio to record into logic. Perhaps these things are unrelated but I've never run into this issue before. My interface is showing up in Logic's audio preferences and I know the signal chain from my microphone to interface to computer works because I checked in the general mac system preferences and when I select my interface I get a signal in. I have tried basic troubleshooting like resetting core audio and restarting my computer without any success.
  6. thanks for trying to help - I went back into my session today and what I described wasn't happening anymore. Super weird but it must have just been a temporary glitch.
  7. I'm running into a problem where I automate a volume swell and even tho visually the automation looks right it plays as if it is fading. The volume starts out loud and then gets soft and it's happening on multiple tracks in my project. It's odd to me because I had these swells in my project for a while and haven't have any issues with them but I got into my session today to work on it more and the issue had presented itself. I hadn't touched the tracks or anything. I've tried a few different things like remaking the automation and it hasn't helped.. any thoughts?
