  1. Thank you very much for sharing the knowledge. Much appreciated!
  2. Okay thank you, so say I wanted to reduce the sample rate of a sample from 44100 to 11025 - I would select downsampling to 4x and I would then need to apply a steep lowpass filter at 5512 (half of 11025)? Thanks for your help
  3. The spot in the video is from 0:47 to 1:30. Thanks
  4. I'm looking to do this too after watching the same video from Cubeatz, did you ever manage to find a way to do this in logic?
  5. Hi guys, I have recently found out about this bug and I'm trying to understand how it will affect my projects I have tried to recreate the issues with latency when using an external sidechain : I'm using es2 as a bass on track 1 with fabfilter c2 compressor on the channel. I am then compressing the es2 using an external side chain from an ultrabeat kick on track 2 I am not seeing any noticeable latency as was clearly evident in the snare hits in the video by PDJMDS (thanks for the video explaining this issue by the way). The bass seems to be compressed in time with when the kick hits What am I missing? I'm on Logic 10.4.0 Thanks
  6. Hi everyone, I am wondering if there are any experts in Alchemy that could help me fix an issue I am having with a preset named 'Aquaponics' The sound begins to fade out after 8 bars and then comes back in for the next 8 I have tried tweaking various settings but cannot seem to find the setting which affects this. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Peter
  7. Hello, I would massively appreciate your help in understanding recording levels.
I use an audient id22 to record into logic, the id22 software shows a level of -15 on average , however when I listen back in logic the level recorded is closer to -30.
I tried to do some troubleshooting myself for this and found people saying that to see accurate levels in logic, I should mute the channel strips in the id software and enable software monitoring in logic and monitor inside logic during tracking.
I did this and levels were accurate (levels were the same as shown in logic during tracking as during playback)
however I still don’t understand why my levels are so low, all around around -30, I am using: For vocals- sm58 > great river pre at almost maximum gain > id22 > logic
. For acoustic guitar - An sm57 > audient id22’s pres at almost at maximum gain > logic.

Can someone please help me understand this I’m worried I’m recording at too low a level and the S/N ratio will affect things further down the line? I’m using logic 10.4.0 Thanks Peter
