  1. Thankyou David.... I will try this and let you know!
  2. They are still listed in control surface setup but with exclamation marks in each of the icons.
  3. Hi everyone, I am have an issue with Logic X setting the set up for my midi controller ( Nektar P4). Once I restart my Imac Logic will automatically set up the correct setting under control surface for the P4 and this all works well for a while....however after opening and closing Logic X a few times the settings are forgotten and I have to restart the computer again.....its driving me crazy. Can anybody suggest why and how to get to stay set on the correct settings??? Thankyou!!!
  4. Hi everyone, I have just discovered the drum replacement feature in Logic X but it seems to not have any variety in the velocity in the midi track created. Is there a way to get it to provide the variations in velocity? I think addictive drums trigger with reproduce the velocity in the original track but want to know if Logic drum replacement can. Please let me know your thoughts Regards Chris

  9. Hi everyone, Hope someone can help. I am having issues when moving a Logic X project from one Mac to another. For example if I save a project file to a USB and open it up on another imac sometimes it will say some of the files are not present and asks if I would like to search for them...for example yesterday I tried open a project from a USB on another imac and most of the vocal takes were missing. If I go back to the original computer it was recorded on and open up that same project from the same USB all the files are there. I really don't know why this is happening sometimes and would greatly appreciate anyones guidance!
  10. Thanks for the response but if I just close them down and open new ones I will lose all the settings and sounds. I really need to avoid that!
  11. Does anyone have any ideas for this problem?
  12. Hi everyone, I hope someone can shed some light a serious issue I am having with Logic 9.1.8 Since I updated from an older operating system : Mountain Lion to Sierria 10.12.6 I have been having some issues with some plugin being ' unavailable' and having a line through them...this means I can't open them at all and they don't work. All these plugins however have been successfully validated by the au manager and if I try open a new instance of them they work fine. This is a real problem for me because all my old projects have plugins with presets and sounds that I now can't open or use. I have tried running Logic in 32bit and 64 bit mode but the problem occurs in both. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated please!!!
