  1. Amazing! Thank you so much, can't believe I didn't know this one. George
  2. Hi everyone, I’ve got a project with lots of short audio files with big gaps between them. I’m trying to find out if there’s a quick way or shortcut to move all audio regions next to each other without any gaps between them? Or is it a case of just dragging? Attached is a small sample. Thanks! George
  3. Hi everyone, This is a plugin error question. I've been using Soundtoys products for a while without any problem, however, when opening a project, which uses Decapitator and Microshift, I got this error message: "A fatal wrapper bootstrap error happened. This software cannot be loaded. Please contact the software publisher for support using this software." The plugins are greyed out and unusable. Any ideas? Thanks!
  4. Great! Thanks for all that. I'll give them all a go. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks for your reply! The only trouble with real time bouncing is the time it takes, it would be very frustrating to have to resort to that every time. I'm currently using Mojave 10.14.2. I think it happened in previous... Attached is a screenshot of my bouncing settings. I want to keep the quality high. It's usually very simple things like one track voice overs, but it happens randomly on anything from those voice overs to 50 track sample and plug-in ridden mammoth projects.
  6. I've always had an occasional issue with bouncing a track but it seems to be becoming more frequent. The track will play fine within Logic with no problem at all, however, when I bounce the track out of Logic, about 50% of the time the file is corrupted in some way. Sometimes it's just the end of the track, sometimes it's the whole thing, sometimes just a second of it will crack, or similar. Usually on the second or third go of bouncing it works properly, and it happens with every type of format, WAV, AIFF, MP3 etc. It's highly irritating. It slows down the pace I work at and it's often embarrassing when I send a corrupted file to someone! Exporting the file never seems to have this problem. Apologies if this has been covered before, I couldn't find it anywhere. Using Logic 10.3.2 Bouncing offline. Many thanks!
  7. Thanks for your responses, but I should have been more specific! The bit that I'm struggling with is the 5th step: "Release all pressed keys - the pitch slides down relatively slowly and fades." Does that make sense?
  8. Hello everyone, Apologies in advance if this has already been covered, I've searched the forum and couldn't find a similar question. I'm looking to create a bass line with a synthesiser that follows certain rules, but as someone who doesn't fully understand the complexities, I'm really struggling. I want the synth to follow these rules (as an example): 1. Press key - sound created 2. Press another key while previous key is held - the previous pitch quickly slides up/down to other pitch 3. Release second key - the pitch slides back to original pitch 4. Repeat until needed - pitch slides between notes as long as midi regions overlap. 5. Release all pressed keys - the pitch slides down relatively slowly and fades. I hope that makes sense! Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
