  1. Hi, I've been using logic for a while now but I have picked up things bit by bit. However some parts of the setup have eluded me (frustratingly so). For example Click Zones. After coming from Pro Tools I heard how many were working and could never figure out how it was possible to work in a similar way. Then I saw clip zones and thought - hang on why is this not on by default? Seems insane. I know everyone works in certain ways but I have not seen a good all in one setup video that turns on all these much needed features. In fact when I asked others I was having to press other buttons with a click to get the marquee tool going when it was there all along tucked away like a smart tool in Pro Tools. Now I can cut, fade and edit much like in Pro Tools. Now I am wondering how much other stuff am I missing. So is there a good guide on how to setup logic for the best functionality? Not the real basics - I know how to use the default setup without an issue, but its turning on all the odd stuff. Its like Midi Chase - omg how tucked away was that?
  2. Does this issue go away when you increase the audio latency settings? Could it be related to an audio driver?
  3. Is it just a click on bypassing or does it continue with the plugin bypassed?
  4. I used to have this issue, Waves L3, or any Linear multi and or EQ cause uncontrollable latency. The=Some Tape Sims also do this. for recording of I need anything I just use a compressor or basic EQ. Waves L3 really three me for a while.
  5. Best method I have used is an automated EQ. By just using a plugin to automate the top end you can get subtle "movement" on the high hat. I've used it a lot. It's a little lazy by with some subtle timing adjustments as well it's a quick way to give the hi hat some "life". I've only done this in Ableton Live, but I know it can be done in Logic.
