I have this big composition, 19 verses, 34 minutes long (with different key signatures and tempo), which I started ages ago on a Roland sequencer. Last decade I got 7 more verses, which I wanted to fit into the composition using Logic 4, and for reasons I don't remember, I split up the original song with two files into about 10 files.
I got these files converted into Logic Pro X, and have worked with instrumentation and adding music.
Now here is (one of) my problem(s):
I want to put the individual files/projects together into a whole piece. But when I try to import a project into another, e.g. verse 2 into the project of verse 1, the tracks of verse 2 will not be added to the end of verse 1, e.g at bar 75, but always get placed at the beginning from bar 1.
So far I have been unable to find any information about how to do this. This is frustrating, since no such problems exist in Photoshop or Word - you can place "things" where you want to, whether it's at the insertion point, into the layer of once choice - so why can't I import project data wherever I chose, wherever I place the playhead - particularly at the end.
Is there a way to do just that?
Best regards,
Michael Strand
