  1. Edit: The solution was unlinking channels 5/6 in UAD Console
  2. Thank you so much for your help! Ironically my interface crapped out shortly after my initial post and I just received the replacement I have a stereo audio track. In Logic, its output is set to "Output 7-8." I am getting signal to the right channel only on my outboard compressor The compressor is physically connected to Ins/Outs 5 and 6 on my Apollo interface I know everything is physically connected to the Apollo correctly because in UAD's console I can route audio out to "Line 5-6" and it goes to the compressor correctly The final piece of the puzzle is I have no idea why it's only sending audio through Output 8 and not Output 7
  3. Sorry to bump this, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I know I have the Apollo and my hardware compressor physically connected properly because in UAD's console I can route from Analog 4 (where I have a mic plugged in) to Analog 5 (hardware compressor) and it sounds perfect. In Logic when I set input to 4 and then add I/O with in/out 5, there's no audio. I must have something wrong routed within Logic but I can't figure out what
  4. Thank you guys so much for your help. I think it's a routing problem with the UAD Apollo x8 but I'm not sure what. I have the compressor physically connected to the Apollo's 5/6 in/outs, but in I/O I have to select 7/8 in order for the signal to get sent to the hardware unit
  5. I just picked up an Apollo x8 interface. I have a hardware compresser connected to its 3/4 in/outs. When I use the I/O plugin in Logic however, none of the plugins after I/O seem to work. Is this intentional? Or do I have something routed incorrectly?
  6. If I have Input Monitoring selected on a Summing Stack I get an INCREDIBLY loud buzzing that sounds like a fog horn. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
  7. I must have clicked something, but I'm not sure what. When I pitch a region up a semi tone, Logic is stretching the entire region for some reason. Flex is not on
  8. For the life of me I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. This is the guitar from "Adam's Song" by Blink 182. The tempo ranges from 133-135. I pull in the audio, tab to transient and cut off the beginning of the region so it starts exactly at bar 1. I turn on Flex Time Automatic Polyphonic, but Flex Time doesn't shift anything around. If I click on the region and select Apply Region Tempo to Project Tempo, but then DELETE that tempo information, and then click Flex Time again, it will shift the regions around to be in time. What am I doing wrong? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/t0l2gr6d45fnij7hcl1c7/Guitar.mp3?rlkey=dhshbevcle9mh00b0vk6aai38&dl=0
  9. I'm also having this problem. Has there been an update to solve it?
  10. Does anyone know why my drums are getting sent to an additional Aux track in the mixer? I have Kontakt multi out tracks each going to bus 47. The summing stack is set to input bus 47. For some reason, there's an additional aux track with an input of 47 in the mixer. None of my other summing stacks do this In my third picture I have an instrument track set to bus 44 and a summing stack with an input of bus 44...but it doesn't have an extraneous aux track in the mixer like my drums do.
  11. Is there a setting so the playhead automatically moves to the region after it's split? I could have sworn it used to automatically move....
  12. Using the marque tool I'm tabbing to transient. I Ctrl-Cmd-T to split at the marque selection. How do I then move the playhead to that location so I can split other audio tracks at the location?
  13. I must have clicked a button, but I'm not sure what. Just yesterday, when I would pull in a sample from Splice, if I sped up or slowed down the project tempo, the audio file would stretch, but the audio wouldn't be slowed down/sped up., Now when I change the project tempo, the audio file stretches in time too. Any idea how to fix this?
  14. Is there a way to flip phase on samples within drum machine designer?
