  1. Yes, there is! Autpmatic Management of Channel Strip Objects.png Thanks. That actually seem to work. The strange thing is that it is already checked in my version logic. I wonder if my problems comes from old projects created years ago in a logic where this setting was not default. Otherwise I cannot understand why I'm having those problems.
  2. This one has been bugging me for years. When I delete a channel from logic it is still there in the environment. All the plugins I used seems to still be active, I don't know if they use any processor power or Ram but they seem to be active. Sometimes when I add a new track, an old one (with all the effects I used on something else) appears. And the worst thing is when I upgrade Mac OS and a a plugin is crashing and preventing logic to open a session. I try to remove those plugins but must also open environment to see if there are invisible active plugins crashing logic. Is there a way to make logic automatically reset a channel when you delete it? I know I can do it manually but I often forget that extra step before deleting.
  3. SOLVED! 1. Bounce an audiofile from your masterproject as a tempoguidline. 2. SMTP-lock all regions in your second project. 2. Change logics tempo settings from "Keep" to "Adapt" 3. Import your audiofile, the "tempoguidline". Be carful to drag it exactly in position to the backtrack you used this project! Now the beatmapping applies and the regions stays in right position to be imported to the masterproject.
  4. I imported a new audiofile from the master project and adapted tempo to that one. Nice, the beat mapped tempo was imported. I had some bounced files (as long as the song) and they adapted to the tempo so that's half a victory. It means I can Bounce everything in place as I want it (a long bounce of silence from start until vocals comes). But the regions still jumped around.
  5. Hi, I've recorded a song without absolute click (the drummer had a click but he could not keep tempo) and then beat-mapped the whole project. Then I made a bounce, imported to another computed and recorded vocals. I've successfully done this before only this time I forgot to import tempo on the new project. Because of this, when I import the vocals (a lot of regions), they completely missmatch the tempo of the master-project. Is there a good way to fix this? The only thing I can think about is to playback the vocals from the computer they are recorded and then record them straight into the master-project. But that would mean I've lost the benefits of take folders if I want to make changes later by some reason. It would also mean unnecessary AD/DA conversions. Do you have any better solutions for me?
  6. Maybe I should also add that I have not yet updated to the new version of Logic. Might solve the problem as well =)
  7. I bought the new Mac mini half a year ago so I was forced to move to Mojave. Luckily everything I use works but Logic crashes once or twice a week. I had no crashes at all under High Sierra... Since it's not perfect I may make a quite early jump to Catalina and see if that solves the problem.
  8. Thank you uncleozzy, redgreenblue & gdoubleyou. I also read a thread in Gearslutz claiming the i7 really has huge advantages when it comes to DAWs. I'll go for the i7. And then I add an OWC Express 4M2 to handle my large SoundLibraries because Apples pricing on increasing storage to 2 TB is just crazy!
  9. Well, my Macbook 2011 with SandyBridge 4 core I7 just hit the roof in a few project. I'm considering the new Mac mini. But how big is the difference between i5 an i7? I guess a 8:th gen i5 with 6 cores is still way better for Logic than a 4 core Sandy Bridge i7 right?
