  1. Hi, does anyone know whether I can compose in Musescore then import into Logic Pro x? Thanks
  2. Solution Found !!!! The instructions implied that I needed the "Surface Controller" but was in fact just controlling the volume controls for each Chanel strip therefore not allow me to setup scenes. Remedy, uninstall the Surface Controller and all is well. You just set the scene in the Editor and send. Then open LPX and do nothing else, the controller works on selected midi channel. It seems to work well with VEP as well, I'm using AU3 although I suspect it works with other setups. The downturn is the transport buttons don't work because of this setup but not a problem in my case.
  3. Thank you David, I have taken your advice and cancelled "Ask" and thank you for trying so hard to solve my problem. I will now hunt for a Korg Forum.
  4. The only contact I could find was "Ask a Korg Technician" which you have to pay for and which I reluctantly did. I have asked the question and am awaiting their reply. If I ever get this sorted I will sent the results to you so it is in your arsenal. Thanks again for your help.
  5. Hmm, I set the channel from global to 1, save under a name and close but when I open LPX it still says Global!
  6. With you, When sliders are moved Number 1 Shows 16 0 0 - 16 0 127 and Slider 2 shows 16 1 0 - 16 1 27 . The sliders work on volume for each track but I cannot assign different CC numbers to the other tracks i.e. expression on slider 2.
  7. Hi David, I don't understand, are you talking about the Nano Kontrol Studio which does not have a LCD as such, just buttons and sliders or do you mean something else? I have , using Time Machine put my iMac back to a date before I acquired the controller, installed the necessary software i.e. Midi usb driver, Surface plugin, studio editor and system updater after reading the manual several times but still to no avail. The editor is set to Assignable with the scene 1 set to Sliders 1 & 2 to control CC7 and CC11. I then click the Write button which confirms the message is sent. Close down editor and open LPX Parameters still showing volume for each track instead of Expression on Slider 2 My midi/audio set as shown:
  8. Done that but still the same. Transport works fine but now the sliders do not work at all! BTW, thanks for spending so much time in trying to sort my problem out.
  9. Still no luck, here is the sequence I am using: 1) With all programs closed except the Editor in which I assign the two sliders to Volume CC7 and Expression CC11 and click on "Write". I then close this editor and open Logic. I then open LPX - Control-Assignments As you can see Slider number 2 is still showing the default as does not perform :Expression: that the editor is set on. I am at my wits end, what am I doing wrong?
  10. Thanks, I have installed the editor but when I try to send it to the controller it comes out with cannot communicate while in Korg native mode and I don't have any idea where this is or how to turn it off (See screenshot)
  11. I,m a bit of a dummy, how do you do that? The 8 sliders are set by default to Volume, how do a set slider 2 for example to CC11.
  12. Hi All, I am trying to find out how to use a MIDI Controller to control volume/expression on two faders within the same track, eg if I have a violin track I wish to use Slider 1 for volume and Slider 2 for expression is this possible and if so how do I achieve this? I am using a Korg NanoKontrol Studio. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
  13. Yes, I've been keeping up with the comments, thanks for your help. I have the VSL template up and running.
  14. I have downloaded your 762 tracks AU3 template but when loaded " Loading plug-ins" stays on my screen so I cannot continue, any thoughts?.
