  1. I'd like to join in the chorus cheering the people who made it possible! Thank you so much!
  2. I just don't see the point of arguing against the AMT8/Unitor8/mt4. It's amazing they've been supported for so long. And it'd be very nice indeed for them to continue working. Because for a number of people these devices do exactly what they/we need. As has been pointed out the alternatives are rare, driver support spotty (motu), additional features not necessarily compelling and some design choices a real disadvantage (not rack mountable, ports on front). Yes, I'd be surprised to see Apple update the driver but why not ask through their support form? And why not root for a third party driver one user here seems to be making real progress on?
  3. Checksum breakage still going strong six years later in 10.4.4 (sorry for reviving this ancient thread, but it just took me some hours to figure out… damn)
  4. In the Matrix Synth device settings, is "Sequencer/Arp Sends Notes" turned on? Maybe try turning that off.
  5. Since I had this question too, I was really hoping there'd be a solution to this… too bad. I am still fairly new to Logic (and external synths), so please allow me an honest question: how do people with loads of (rack-) synths solve this? Use hardware controllers? Simply not use CCs but build elaborate patches? I find CC automation (for external gear!) in Logic incredibly frustrating. I've even gone so far and rebuilt some of my synths in the antiquated arcane mess that is the Midi Environment in the hopes of making CCs a little more accessible. Not quite sure it was worth it. By the way, @jaysunice the track notes in Logic allow tables to be pasted from Numbers or the Notes app. So in my template(s) I've added a table with all CCs to each of my external gear tracks.
