HI all
Ive noticed that Logic puts the transient markers way after what looks the start of the waveform, this way if you slice at transients you end up having a truncated waveform, which means missing the beginning of the transient and clips.... I cant find a "logic" reason for this ... even if i put "cut at zero crossing" logic would still place its markers "wrongly".
of course you could go in the editor and adjust it manually but .... i just dont understand why it is so... anyone else noticed this ? do you have an explanation/fix ?
also when using flex with slicing - which should be the best solution for drums etc - it always cuts the trasneints wrong so that the very beginning of each hit gets moved away from the rest of the wave.... i hope the images attached can clarify better what i mean .
looking forward to hearing your thoughts
thx
