  1. Why do i keep getting this selection mode with two blue arrows whenever I try and select something and how do I revert to the default selection mode?
  2. I'm trying to add some demisemiquavers/32nd notes to my project, but whenever I do, LP changes it to a 16th/semiquaver note. Any idea how to stop this? See screen shot attached.
  3. I'm trying to record my vocals (audio) and keyboard (midi) simultaneously to separate tracks but can't figure it out. I am using a Yamaha MG10XUF mixing desk and have my vocals, keyboards, and headphones routed through it. It's connected to my laptop via the USB output. Right now, I can only get it to record everything to the audio track, which isn't what I'm looking for.
  4. Nevermind, figured it out.
  5. I had to use the staff style piano 1+2/3+4 in order to have polyrhythms in both the left and right hand in this song. But it means that there are rests scattered throughout my sheet music, which is irritating to read. Is there a way for me to get rid of them? See screen shots
  6. Why do the staves double up when I change to certain polyphonic staff styles in one project, but if I copy the music over to another, the staves don't double up. For example, I want to use the piano 1+2/3+4 staff style. In my original project this will give me two trebles and two bass clefs, which is not what I want. When I do the same thing in a new project then it stays at one treble and bass cleff, which is what I want to use.
  7. OK, must I export the project or bounce? I just tried exporting as an AAF file but no luck. I've figured out how to assign the notes to different channels and change their voicing; I can't figure out how to get the A flat minim to be written as a minim though. See images attached.
  8. I want to make this first A flat be played as part of a group of semiquavers but be held down for two beats. How would I represent this as a minim (stem going down) whilst still part of the sq group (stems going up)? See image.
  9. Is there a way to get the sustain pedal in Logic Pro to reflect the different gradations of touch that I apply to my digital piano's sustain pedal as I'm playing? Logic can see that I've applied different touches to the sustain pedal when I'm playing but the output is either a fully applied sustain or none at all, meaning huge passages are sustained. See screenshot showing LP can see the gradations but doesn't output them.
