  1. Once you have consolidated all the individual tracks into one track for mastering, how can you "reverse engineer" to re-assemble the individual tracks?
  2. Yes, David, a new track with its first region starting at the problem point. I deleted the track and the problem disappeared, but then so did the track I originally was trying to keep. I have a 7 year old imac think it could simply be a processor beginning to go bad? I f so, can you tell me how to check my processing power?
  3. Start and end positions are set properly from Bar 1 to the end of the track at bar 54, yet everything stops at bar 45.
  4. I've already checked the start and stop points. They're good. How do I turn on the "cycle mode?"
  5. I have an imac and a 10.5 version of LPX. When bouncing a track to create an mp3 the :scan" only goes part way through the track. It stops every time at the exact same point and after a few seconds returns to the start position back at the beginning of the track. Any ideas what could be going on?
  6. Thanks. I'll explore your direction.
  7. In the case of individual instrument sounds, particularly that of the strings and certain synths, can the "attack" be modified in a way to "sharpen" it so that the full sound is heard sooner to the exact time the keys are pressed? Can this be done such that ALL the notes played in the melody are effected, as well as can it be done on an individual, note by note basis?
  8. Is there another way to express volume other than use it in such an "angular" manner? I'm trying to get a more nuanced, or "rounded" volume increase. I seem to remember seeing someone "draw" a volume pattern and then have it applied to a track. Can someone help me with my options in applying volume to tracks? Thanks, JD
  9. Every time I start playback it plays for just a few bars and I either get an overload notice or everything simply stops playing, but of course the beach ball keeps spinning. I'm fairly satisfied that it is NOT a matter of readjusting or increasing the audio setting options (which I'm very familiar with). What else could be going on? Thank you inadvance for your help. Best! JD
  10. And I had the volume down too far on the strings, so thanks. I think I got it now.
  11. Enclosed is a screen shot where the bottom 5 tracks ("Emergence" and 4 tracks of Strings) don't sound at all on playbacks. Any ideas on what might be going on?
  12. Good news! I figured it out. I can access through "window" then select "step editor." Problem solved. Thanks again for your valued support.
  13. With LPX 10.4 all I ever did was to click-on any track, or partial track, to display the step sequencer, so, with that in mind, what do I need to do differently to access step sequencer using LPX 10.5? What do I click-on, what do I do? Thanks much!
