  1. ***Edit***: Upon further delving I explored the External midi instrument settings on the channel strip & noticed that my input volume was 0. Does this mean I have to re-record the clip?? This= sad if it is the case.
  2. Hi all, Having an issue where a midi clip of mine won't play through my headphones. Checked audio out settings & everything seems fine. Point of note is that the incoming audio was actually music coming in through a usb cable from a Yamaha MX-61 synth. Recorded fine & was able to hear the audio while recording but apparently not during playback. Any thoughts as to why this is??? Any input would be much appreciated. Ty. -MS
  3. Problem solved! Thank you. 🤗
  4. Hi there, Been away for a while- my apologies. As you can see, I tried making a new software track with the settings copied from the original Dr Mach Designer track & there is still no arpeggiator being applied to the new track. Any one have any bright ideas about this... ? 😕 Thanks in advance. -MS
  5. It will not arpeggiate the snare 3 midi track during keyboard strokes nor through playback. :/
  6. I don't understand. It's lit blue.
  7. Hi there, Dealing with an issue wherein my arpeggiator is not activating when switched on with one of my tracks containing a midi clip. As you can see via the screenshot- everything seems to be locked & loaded but when I play a note on my keyboard, I only here the single sound (a 808-style snare hit for reference.) Anybody got ne bright ideas?? Very frustrating... thanx for any advice!! -MS
  8. Standard audio cable ---> mixer ---> standard audio cable into my MacBook Pro.
  9. Hi there, I'm fairly new to music production, & upon experimentation with my setup, I couldn't help but notice that *neither* my Microkorg XL *nor* my Korg Electribe Sampler are making noise when being routed through a Mackie mixer into Logic. I see a signal coming through into the mixer but no sound coming into the DAW itself. It begs me to ask the question: do I need an audio interface for these hardware devices to be registered by Logic or is there some other setting or function that I'm overlooking that needs tweaking?? Also note that my Yamaha MX-61 could be heard very clearly upon using the same inputs into the mixer. Thank you for your time. -MS
  10. Hi, there. I just have a random generalized question regarding audio/MIDI effects added onto a track: perhaps it's somewhat of a "n00b-ish" question, but I need to know: when yr stacking effects onto a track (e.g. flange, phaser, distortion >>in that order from top to bottom<<) do those effects activate upon the incoming audio-signal in **the particular order** in which they are assigned (a la top-of-column ---> bottom) or is there perhaps some other sequence/order to consider? Thank you all for yr input & clarification to this matter! Cheers!! ☺️ -MS
