  1. I too just found this unfortunate thread. If anyone can explain how to set up Plogue Bidule as the solution that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  2. I just meant in time with the master clock. I see what you mean with not being able to make late notes early (unless there is somehow a delay between whats going out to the house and what the performer hears and plays... just an idea) But even making early notes later could be useful. I wouldn't want every note perfectly quantized but if there was a strength setting than everything could be a little more in time. Thank you for the reply!
  3. Thank you all for the responses. I didn't realize that bypassing plugins doesn't affect the latency you actually have to delete them. I had a limiter on my stereo out that was bypassed but still causing a ton of latency. Once I deleted that I was good to go.
  4. I'm wondering if there is an input quantize option for midi in Mainstage just like in Logic. That way when playing midi controllers live you can always be in time. thanks!
  5. Are you using an external soundcard? I'm using a UAD Arrow Interface. It doesn't seem to be the the interface thats causing problems because when the Logic session is blank there is no latency. Have you tried the empty dummy audio track? I'm not sure what you mean by dummy audio track. Are you aware that some (3rd party) plugins maybe taxing your system, even when not active (turned on)? I've tried freezing tracks and turning them off completely but don't see any difference in latency. Is there another way to deal with these plugins that are taxing the system without having to delete them? Speaking about your system, what are its specs? MBPro 15" 2017, OS Sierra 10.12.5, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB Are you using other software(s)/apps/services concurrently while using Logic? I'm not using any other apps/services while running Logic. Thanks for the quick reply!
  6. I'm experiencing latency problems while recording vocals. The buffer size is at 32 samples, sample rate is at 44.1, recording delay is 0 samples. Even when there are no plugins at all on the audio channel there is a significant amount of latency unless I put Low Latency Mode on. The weird thing is that if I open a new blank session and create an audio track the latency is not there even with a lot of plugins activated. But when I try to record in my bigger sessions that I have software instruments in, than I get very high latency. I'm trying to perform live with Logic and really need to resolve this. Any help will be greatly appreciated it!! P.S I'm on the most updated version of Logic 10.4.4
