  1. This is great! I'm guessing this only works for midi though and not track automation?
  2. Thanks for the reply. This seems like a great work around. I think this is just what I need 🙂
  3. Just trying to speed up workflow. I use the marquee tool to select the parts I want to reset panning to 0, then drag them there. As I primarily use pan automation to reset bits I don't want panned, It would be useful it there was a key command or some way of setting selected automation points to 0. Does anyone know of a way?
  4. If you click file there's a revert tab with all previous saves. You can always make project alternative in the future. It lets you save different versions in the same project. I quite often use them when I'm producing different versions of a song so its all in the 1 project and I can switch between them.
  5. Is there a way to customise the LCD further. I Like like the look of the default ones where everything is a little more compact without all the extra decimals etc. I removed the decimals on tempo in the setting but its still a lot larger than the default and the bars and time just look messy. Is there options I'm missing or is there no option to change these things?
  6. Thanks for the reply. Yeah its when physically removing a device. I try not to do it but sometimes, if i'm using headphones direct into the MacBook, I forget and unplug without changing devices. It's not a big deal, just gotta get into a habit of closing logic before hand.
  7. Thought I would add I'm using Apples M1 Chip and running logic 10.6.1
  8. It's been doing this for a while now. When remove any audio device that logics using (interface/earphone etc) it will crash 50% of the time. Does anyone know a fix to this?
  9. Thanks for the reply, It's for a live studio style recording. I wanted to go for a single moving camera for the whole song. I really like the vibe of one moving shot for live recordings. I'm planning on doing a lot of these videos so wanted to figure out the best way to give cues. If there was a way to do countdown till next marker, I was going to try put it on a remote screen attached to his rig. Audio cues may be the way to go though thanks for the advice.
  10. I want to set markers for cues on where the video guy needs to be at certain parts of the song. I was wondering if there is a pop out window with a visual count down until the next marker so he knows exactly how long till he needs to get in position for a guitar shot for example. I know its a bit of a long shot to have such a specific tool but I though I would ask on here just in case its hidden in there somewhere.
  11. I've got the setup working with IAC for my main drums (Steven Slate Drums) by taking the out of IAC in the environment and sending it straight to the SSD track. But the second kit I want to use is the (Drum Machine Designer). When I try send IAC to this track it doesn't work. I'm guessing its because its a summing folder but wondered if you know of any workaround for this.
  12. Thanks for the reply's really appreciate your time. I tried using the IAC busses but as my intent is for live use the latency I was getting rules that out unfortunately. Ive downloaded Kushview Element but i'm struggling to get my head around it. I can't seem to see any of the logic midi FX in the plugins. It also won't open the plugin I want to use for the track instrument "StevenSlateDrums". I haven't tried the BCS's Connector as I didn't want to pay out for it just yet until I know its going to work for what I need. For a bit more context on what I'm doing. Im playing drums with my feet using 3 pedals. I have a few midi fx always on e.g- crash triggers when kick drum is hit at full velocity, alternating crashes, hi hat always triggers at set velocity etc. Then I have others that will be set on and off in certain parts of the song using track automation like, midi mapping to change notes to toms for drum fills or open hats and chord trigger to trigger both crashes etc. I'm guessing there's nothing that can be done in the midi environment that can achieve what I'm after?
  13. I've got a track that I want a lot more than 8 midi effects that I will turn on and off or automate on and off but it seems to limit me to 8 midi effects. Does anyone know of a way to have more per track? Even better if there's a way of sending midi effects from another track/buss to this one track.
  14. I've recently started having this problem where audio files are going missing from my projects and have not idea why. When saving them I make sure everything is ticked next to "Copy the following files into your project". I haven't had this problem for years after making sure I have these ticked. The only thing I can think of that I'm doing differently is instead of starting a new project every time Im writing something I use an already existing project, delete all regions, and start from there. I need to make a template but I still don't see how this would effect it.
  15. I haven't used chord trigger much and didn't know how customisable it was. This is exactly what I needed, thanks for the help.
