  1. Hello, When your project relies on 3rd party VSTs (e.g. some NI* library) and you save your project and re-open it, Logic tries to locate those VST libraries so that it may load all necessary sounds from it for your midi tracks (as well as effects like reverb for your audio tracks etc.). Some of my VST libraries are located in an external HD and so when I open such a project and my external HD is not connected, the project cannot play some midi tracks (and other effects). This makes absolute sense. However, is there a way to save a project in such a way that the project is "self-sufficient" for playback only at least, even if the appropriate VST libraries cannot be found? I understand I shouldn't be able to record a new NI piano, for example, if the library can't be found, but what about playing back the NI piano I recorded last time I saved the project (when the NI library was connected and found) ? I don't mind if such a saving "mode" would increase the size of the project file considerably. I could obviously export the project as an mp3 file every time I save it, but I'm more interested in being able to playback the project itself (for mixing purposes for example). Thank you in advance, Neek *Native Instruments
  2. Hi there, I'm looking for a Logic Pro equivalent of the "Gliding Squares" patch originally found in Korg Triton : ). Is anyone familiar with that sound (is there a sound like that in Native Instruments or some other library I could use with Logic) ? It's basically a a sound that "glides" from one note to the other, it's electronic, but clean, not distorted, with a flutey vibe to it... Thanks in advance for any help
