  1. Same. Recordings and everything else seems to be working fine in 3.5.2. But I haven't spent much time with it. Is anyone else having any problems in 3.5.2?
  2. Thanks for the reply! I'm mostly going to be using Mainstage for this, all done in realtime performance situations, so I guess pre-recording options are best? So would that be option 1 or 4?
  3. I’d like to transform midi velocity information from my midi sequencer into modulation wheel information, sending from logic/Mainstage to an external hardware synth. Is this something I could do with Scripter? Would anyone be so kind as to post a script or otherwise point me in the right direction? Thanks!
  4. Oddly this stopped being a problem and all is fine now. Maybe just needed a restart.
  5. I'm trying to send midi clock from mainstage to an ipad via bluetooth midi (to the app ApeMatrix) but having an issue where every time I create a new external instrument channel strip and and select "start sending midi clock" in the Midi Output tab, it crashes all my midi devices. Meaning I can no longer get an midi data into OS X at all from any of my controllers. Restarting the computer fixes the connection. Any idea? Thanks!. Using Mainstage 3.4.4
  6. Whoops i forgot to assign it to a button in the layout screen
  7. I'm trying to send a midi CC message to a software instrument (the VST Playbeat) but its not receiving the CC message and I'm not sure why. In the standalone version of the Playbeat, I can get it working fine. My controller is sending a midi CC message and Mainstage is receiving it correctly as seen in the MIDI monitor. I have the Midi Input on the channel with the instrument set to the midi controller. What could I be doing wrong? Thanks for the help.
  8. Thanks for that info! What I'm trying to do is use a third party midi fx plugin called Thesys, a step sequencer, to send midi data to an external hardware instrument. In Logic, I can get this to work using the external instrument plugin. I just tried using an External Instrument Channel Strip in Mainstage and I can't seem to get it to work. I have my audio unit set in the midi out, using the correct midi out channel (same as I had it configured in Logic)
  9. The external instrument in the manual looks different from how mine looks in Mainstage. Why? Thank you. (In LogicX on the same machine, the plugin looks as it does in the manual)
  10. I'm still getting issues recording in 3.5. Anyone else?
  11. Nice! However it looks like another user on this forum is having an issue with Mainstage recordings being in mono. So waiting to hear about that being fixed to update viewtopic.php?f=17&t=153494&e=1&view=unread#unread
