  1. Hi. I have created my own midi mapping according to the requirements of my setup, but am running into a few issues. First: Since I have a keystation pro 88 and plenty of knobs and buttons I went around the smart controls and just mapped the required paramters accordingly. I have deleted the smart control mappings but it seems despite after "unchecking the automatic smart controls" for each track inside my project and deleting them from the controller assignments panel ...for some reason everytime i open up the project, logic remaps the smart controls. Is there a way I can keep them from mapping automatically on a global level...and then store that setting....just as my mappings are stored globally. I am open to using the smart controls but for now, I went through some complicated midi programming and dont require their help just yet lol. Any ideas on how to turn off the automatic smart mapping? Second. Im having some display issues. I have screen sets configured and am well versed in the lock and unlocking functions...but no matter how many times reposition things and then unlock and relock...their placements dont last more than a few days and then sure enough they appear all on my main mbp screen. Having "displays have separate" spaces checked or unchecked doesn't seem to make any difference in behavior. Im thinking it may have to do with "desktop options" when right clicking the app in dock....then selecting the desktop assigning options...but im not sure which to choose to get the desired outcome. To reiterate...just looking for logic to replicate my screensets the way they were locked... I trust this is all doable...just a matter getting everything set correctly. Thanks in Advance!!
  2. MacBook Pro 2015 2.8i7/16G OWC Thunderbolt dock Both monitors connected via HDMI (Viewsonic & Old Insignia both running 1080p) Logic x 10.3.3 El Capitain 10.11.6 Syntronik 1.2 Sample Tank 3 Keystation Pro 88 Akai MPD-218 Using 3 screens and having some erratic behavior much like what was mentioned above. Have screensets programmed to MIDI Buttons on a keystation pro 88 and recalling the programmed screensets return maybe 1 out of 4 that are completely re-arranged. Aware of the displays have separate spaces option but dont recall where to find this...and whether or not it is the solution. Thanks in advance. It may be worth mentioning.... seems like after swiping through fullscreen apps and alternate desktops(spaces) that is when the screen arrangements mix themselves up. IDK...can't say for sure yet.

  4. Hi. I have a Late 2014 Mac Mini 1TB 8GRAM 2.6 i5 running Logic X 10.3.3 via El Capitain 10.11.6. Also IK Sampletank 3 Software instruments. Keystation Pro 88 and Akai MPD218. Onyx 1640i and Presonus Firepod 1st generation aggregated through firewire to thunderbolt adapter using Onyx as clock source. After quitting out of Logic,I noticed my shut down was hanging and finder not responding. Activity monitor shows MidiServer running 99.9% CPU and stays there. Just quit MidiServer process and about to try a restart. Also during use in logic, i lost my audio but meters were reading sound. No mutes solos or in-accurate routing issues were present. Reloaded driver and swapped buffer speeds back and forth to try to re-initialize but no go. Was getting Error syncing audio/midi messages also. Only running about 6 or 7 tracks with minimal if any plugins. Gain plug in on each track was all. Just installed Logic x a few days ago and before this Mac Mini was smooth and solid. Not sure where to begin here.....96K was my project sample rate. Thanks in advance!
