  1. I know this thread is ancient...but I have the exact same problem with the exact same interface. It seems to be that I’m direct monitoring through the interface itself You said you fixed the original problem and I’m curious. I’m betting my last chip here Edit: NEVERMIND https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/articles/206849879-Why-can-I-still-hear-input-signal-when-I-m-not-recording-or-when-my-recording-software-is-not-open- Referencing focusrites forum page a found out to go into mix control and change the routing preset to daw tracking and this completely solved the issue! I may leave this here in case someone else faces this same issue.
  2. just to be clear you meant to say "no its NOT normal to hear any sort of click" right? it occurs through my both of my audio interfaces iMac speakers and laptop speakers as well as headphone outs All my projects are from scratch at 44. Another strange thing is it occurs more often in my newer projects, and less often, but still happens, on older projects. help or not I appreciate you for trying to help! I'm just gonna work on ignoring it as it only occurs when moving playhead within the boundaries of an audio region and doesn't effect bouncing or recording ...but if anyone else out there has some thoughts id love to hear them OS: Mojave 10.14.6 iMac: (21.5-inch, Late 2013) processor: 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7 memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 ssd: 350gb free of 500 Logic 10.5.0
  3. Hey y'all. This might be nothing or it might be something. I'll keep it simple, let's say I just recorded an acoustic guitar and I am moving the playhead to a certain point on the track to play from that location. Is it normal to hear a pretty loud "pop" noise the instant the mouse is clicked? I mean man, I've been using logic for years and just recently noticed this and now I can't stop hearing it! In my head, it makes sense to hear a pop as I might be moving to non zero part of the waveform in the middle of a transient or something. But the noise changes in timbre even clicking on the same track position (ex: clicking on playhead position 30 over and over) Cpu meter/Drive I/o are fine never really go above 25 percent. things I can think of/have tried: - turn off record enabled and input monitoring on all tracks - Different buffer sizes and other multithread settings - turn off and remove all plugins - opened project on different computer - tried multiple interfaces/internal speaker - Load project from external usb drive - PRAM reset - Meditation I guess I'm just exhausted and looking for moral support more than anything else thank you OS: Mojave 10.14.6 iMac: (21.5-inch, Late 2013) processor: 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7 memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 ssd: 350gb free of 500 Logic 10.5.0
  4. Just came to confirm and add my experience ... tracks wont highlight in the mixer corresponding with the tracks i have selected in arrangement. Makes discerning what track im working on less than instantaneous. besides rebooting logic, opening the piano roll then back to the mixer works for me
