  1. Hello Logic Gurus and Savants Background: Inside a new Logic project, I've created a Kontakt Multi (*.nkm) consisting of 10 different instruments, each assigned to their individual Logic tracks and MIDI- and output channels. Works like a charm I've saved both the Kontakt Multi within Kontakt, as well as the Logic project in which the Kontakt Multi was created, individually. Question now: is it possible to open this same Kontakt Multi but in another Logic project that would also automatically include the Logic track settings for the respective Kontakt Multi that I've created in the Kontakt Multi's original Logic project.....? Because for now, if I create a new project, then choose Kontakt as a Multi Output on a track, then load the Kontakt Multi instrument in question, I have to re-map every instrument of the Multi again to individual tracks in Logic for this new project, just like I did when I created the Multi the first time round......basically, I would keep having to do the same every time I use a different Logic project in which I'd like to use the Kontakt Multi with its individual Logic tracks I've created initially....so is there a way to make this more effective? Maybe something like a track- or channel strip settings template or.....? Hope this question makes sense......and that it only sounds more complicated than the possible solution will be
  2. How are you connecting it? Adapters I imagine, and to what port on your computer? The Saffire Pro 14 connects via firewire directly into the Mac (model 12,2)
  3. Thanks, triplets. The Saffire runs otherwise fine under Big Sur, and the MixControl software is the latest available version - but the sample rate does not change automatically. Could this also be linked to sync source? I only have "internal" or "SPDIF" (meaning, from another external device) available. This being said, the Pro 14 is an old(er) Firewire interface, so your suggestion could well be part of the issue....
  4. Hello all LPX 10.6.2 on Mac Big Sur 11.3.1 and using a Saffire Pro 14 interface My Mac audio sample rate is set at 48kHz, sync source on Saffire Pro 14 set to "internal". I do work with LP projects ranging from 44.1kHz to 96 kHz, but every time I load a project that does NOT match the Mac's sample rate, the ENTIRE system audio drops , and the only way to get it restored again is to reboot the computer. Tried using various terminal "killall coreaudio" commands, to no avail. Meaning now, I have to 1. manually open EVERY project, 2. re-set the project sample rate to the Mac System rate, 3. save project, 4. reboot computer, 5. reload project and adjust any and all audio files within the project to match adjusted sample rate Clearly this can't be the only way.......?!? Or am I missing something / doing something wrong? Is this an interface- or Mac OS issue or......? Thanks for any advice & guidance!
  5. Sorry I was not aware of this GUI aspect - many thanks, David!
  6. Hello LPX 10.4.8 on HS 10.13.6 I have a WAV file whose GAIN I want to modify - strangely, the Region Inspector does NOT show any slider (see attached)......I was under the impression there is supposed to be one, or am I missing anything? Thanks
  7. This is the most "logic" approach . Will check it out later. Thank you, Ploki. Thank you Ploki for pointing me in the right direction! Within Key Commands I deleted the listed S88 commands for Play, Stop, Rec, Rewind and Forward and re-mapped them manually......and all now works as advertised. Not sure if this altered or affected anything else, I guess time will tell......

  9. Yes. The board is recognized as control surface; it works with KK loaded as an AU track and also works as keyboard for any other loaded AU.
  10. iMac 12,2 HS 10.13.6 LPX 10.4.6 KK 2.1.3 For what it's worth.....after a 1-hour remote support session with NI last week (no result, other than recommending OS re-install) and days on end of countless un- and re-installs, including Mac OS, removal of anything peripheral- and / or other security related, etc etc here's the result: - LPX: KK as a plugin works BUT the transport controls and jog wheel do NOT. Transport controls remain MIDI mapped to and trigger sounds of whatever instrument is loaded within KK - Ableton: KK as a plugin AND transport controls work - Cubase: KK as a plugin AND transport controls work NI says it's an Apple issue, Apple so far no feedback - so I'm trying my luck here, any suggestion is appreciated.
