  1. Thank you for your suggestion, oscwilde. Upgrading the Mac OS from Sonoma 14.1.1 to 14.3.1 completely solved the flashing Project Window in Logic Pro 10.8.1. I can't thank you enough for your help. Do spread the word to others who are still in the Intel world that the OS upgrade will fix the problem. Cheers, Sean...
  2. Oh, absolutely! I will be so relieved if this does the trick. Rebooting 12-15 times a day isn't the best route to productivity...
  3. I'm upgrading the OS as we speak. Will let you know if I notice any marked improvement. Of that I'm not sure. I just installed it there to keep all of the Logic files together on a drive with way more space on it.
  4. Yes, Intel Mac on Sonoma 14.1.1. Logic is actually running on a 2tb external SSD that has 220.47 GB of free space.
  5. I'm running Logic 10.8.1 on a Late 2018 Mac mini 500gb with 64gb of RAM. Ever since I updated, the screen flashes off and on every two seconds or so and there are times when I can't scroll up or down. There are other times when I can't see any of the instruments in the Project window. The only thing that makes the software return to normal is after a Restart. Has anyone encountered this? It's really frustrating, since it's so difficult to accomplish anything due to the almost constant restarting. Thanks in advance for the help.
  6. That seems to have done the trick. Thanks, Atlas, I appreciate the insight.
  7. Hello everyone, I have an Evolution UC-33 Control Surface that I've been using for automating Expression, Vibrato, etc. When I record, say, a string track and move the Expression slider for crescendos/decrescendos, it works like a charm. If I then go to record a different track, I have to jiggle the same slider in order to hear the strings I just recorded. Is there a way around having to "jump start" the sound by having to move the slider? Shouldn't it automatically reset? Is it an issue with the UC-33 or is it a setting in Logic Pro X? Thanks...
  8. I’ll try that, thanks! Regards, Sean...
  9. Hello David, But that Tempo Fader only bottoms out at 50 bpm. What if I need to add rubato to a piano piece that requires the bpm to be in the 30's? Is there any way to adjust the values? Thanks, Sean...
