  1. Hey, thanks for the mention! I also shared it here but didn't get much attention: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=149985 Unfortunately, I had to sell my Push 2 due to economical situations in my country, so I couldn't improve it any more.
  2. Hi guys I did some programming to use Push 2 with Live Loops in Logic. Here is a small demonstration of what I did: I explained the process on my blog, you can check it here: http://umuterhan.com/2020/06/11/hacking-push-2-for-logic-pro-x-10-5-live-loops/
  3. I was hoping for that in 10.5 update =)
  4. Live Loops is really cool but very problematic with big templates. it is working extremely slow on my ~700 tracks template. If there is even a single Cell on the grid, unhiding all tracks takes sooooo many seconds no matter if you are on Grid or Tracks view. These tracks and plugins are completely disabled btw.. When all the cells are empty, still Tracks View work much smoother than Live Loops Grid does. Also, I found using Launchpad with Live Loops on big templates is troublesome. Because of track stacks, fader banks don't match the selected track so you can't view the right cells on Launchpad. And there is no way to change Channel Strip View Mode in Control Surface Setup. It is greyed out. I was hoping to select my fav sounds from my huge but lightweight template and hide the rest of the tracks and Live Loop with them. I even programmed my Ableton Push 2 to work as Launchpad. But apparently it won't be possible until a new update especially because of the performance issue.
  5. Can you give more info about the project's last saved version, plugins used, etc. Because I'm sure there are other guys like me hesitating to update and following this topic to see possible bugs and problems.
  6. Any ideas on how to jump to specific tracks? I have some macros on Keyboard Maestro that need specific tracks selected first on Logic. Tried voice commander, apparently it can retrieve track names from logic and also select specific tracks without adding a control surface. That's exactly what I want to do with KM but without the voice part.
  7. By the way, for years I've been coming to this forum with google searches and seeing your answers in almost every post! Finally subscribed. Nice to meet you!
  8. You can import everything but "groups". So it is not a complete import function. I don't understand if there is a logical reason to leave out just groups.. I was thinking of adapting my new group system to my old unfinished projects. Now I have to do it the other way; import my old projects to my new template and save them. That doesn't sound ideal to me.
  9. That's what I ended up with anyway but it is not an ideal solution.
  10. Not exactly a solution for plugin scan but logic opens just a little faster if you open Midi Studio in Audio/Midi Setup utility first and then start logic. It initializes CoreMIDI before Logic starts.
  11. Hello guys! I have a big project with many groups so that I can hide or mute different tracks together. Some of the tracks are assigned to multiple groups and each group has different settings etc.. Now I want to make a smaller template out of it, so I've imported the tracks, stacks, buses and other settings and they are all fine. But it didn't import anything related to "groups" and I can't seem to find any solution other than duplicating the project and deleting the unnecessary tracks. Manually creating those groups again and assigning them to tracks is also out of option. Am I missing something here? Is there another way to import group settings and assignments? Thank you!
