Mojave 2019 with Logic installed at same time.

Trying to add a software instrument track to a project containing audio and drummer tracks. No sound coming out when playing keyboard and no reaction from channel strip (after choosing an instrument from library). If I open a new project with only a software instrument and choose and instrument from library, everything works fine. Is that normal?

Would have loved to send u the demo but I really can't find the way this Licecap works. It is downloaded but nothing happens. Too bad for me. But thanks for trying to help me because this Metronome problem is really frustrating. To solve this I start my recording with a drum beat I created.

The metronome does not give me 4 clicks (4 beat count-in) before starting recording. Sometimes it gives me 1 click, sometimes 2 but sometimes not at all. The settings of the metronome are: Click while recording and click during count-in + polyphonic clicks. It is set to 1 bar count. 1234 and Metronome buttons on. Could someone help me with this please? Thank you
