you might look to see if a dialogue window is open on a different screen (or desktop in lion) i've had that happen quite a few times.

hi guys, i opened a recent waveburner project. the tracks seemed to be locked somehow but, i'm unable to find anywhere that performs this function. am i missing something dave logic pro 9.1.7 mac mini i5

Here is a nice little tip that will save you a bunch of time. Once you've set your drum group to flex, logic will begin detecting transients on every track. Press command period multiple times to cancel transient detecting on all your tracks. Now open your kick /snare track in the sample editor. In the audio file menu choose detect transients. Turn on transient viewing the the button to the left of the speaker icon and use the mouse/ +- buttons on that window to leave only the appropriate transients (usually less is better) Now all you have to do is turn on flex in the region inspector for the region and the entire group should snap to just that regions transients. hope this helps

hi guys, it seems that the key command stop and go to last play position is now taking me to the beginning of the song. can anyone elso confirm this. i use this key command constantly:(

I am working on a scoring project, i have two versions of the video one with no music and one with place holder music, is there any way to have them both loaded and sequenced in logic so that i can switch between the audio of both? I was thinking maybe loading one in, extracting the audio and then loading in the next one?

when i import samples or drag them into the exs24 they map across every key even when i choose to key range of 1 note? anyone else experiencing this prob. I am running 9.02

have you tried creating an agregate device in audio midi setup? or engaging software monitoring (look it up in your key commands list)

Hi Guys, I am wondering, now that I have set my "Stereo Output" in the audio preferences to Outputs 17-18, I can no longer send anything to outputs 1-2 which are now labeled "Stereo Out" Same with surround sound, My outputs 1-2 don't work (they are connected to my rear left and right) unless I unselect outs 17-18 as the "stereo out" of my system, even though I have them properly assigned in the Surround sound preferences

Yeah, Dave. In logic they work fine but ever since logic 7 only 1-8 which are my analogs. The interesting thing is that my roommate has a different motu interface and he has the exact same problem. It must have something to do with waveburner failing to see digital outs with a motu driver.

when i choose my master outputs in waveburner only my analog outs show up

after I have detected transients on a flex enabled track is there a way to change all transients to transient markers. Thanks in advance. D
