  1. Looks like I solved my problem described above. After ignoring it for 2 years I sat down and tried out different things. My solution was this: * make the track a region * choose the cc from the drop down in the piano roll And with those settings I get correct numbers for my automations curves in Logic X when using Kontakt. Hope it helps someone. Have a good day! The happy camper
  2. Wow!!! Just installed the script. It is truly amazing!!!! Thank you so much for the work you put into this! Cheers!
  3. Hi Rupect! Thanks for your inout. No, sadluý this issue is still the same for me. But I will try out your theory about the plug-ins. Stay safe!
  4. Hi Omar! Thank you so much for your input. I will try it out! Regards, Niclas
  5. Hi triplets! Thank you for getting back to me. Maybe I explained this poorly...if so, I apologise. Not any automation parameters is showing a correct number when I'm using Kontakt in Logic. The third picture displays that a regular Wav-file in Logic is showing the numbers correctly. Same with the automation with Logic's own instruments. Everything works fine. But my problem is when using Kontakt. On the first track there should be different numbers? Not 15 all the way. On the second track there should be 127 and 0. Now it says 5 all the way. This happens in Logic when I'm running Spitfire libraries in Kontakt. And again, it happens on ALL parameters. I don't have this problem with Spitfires own VST or LABS. Everything shows up correctly. So I can't say it's Spitfire specific either? Hopefully I explained this problem a little bit better? Maybe it is some setting in Kontakt???? Regards
  6. Hi! Thanks for getting back to me. 1) There are wrong level numbers for ALL automation parameters in the Kontakt libraries. 2. MIDI-volume works fine and shows the proper numbers. Does that give you any clues? Regards
  7. Hi! I have a little annoying "feature" when using Logic X Pro and Kontakt. It appears when I'm using Spitfire Libraries, can't speak for any other libraries. But a VST plugin in (i.e Felt piano from Spitfire Audio) works totally fine. That makes me think there is something in Kontakt that produces this? As you can see from the screen shot the automation level numbers are not right when in Kontakt. The first two are Kontakt-libraries. As you can see they are showing the same numbers despite different levels. The third track is an audio track and the numbers are showing correctly. Do any of you have some explanation and solution for this? Thank you in advance, Niclas
  8. Hi Mark! Thanks for your reply. Im on a MacBook Pro and I used AudioSwift nearly 2 moths now. Im very delighted! It has improved my workflow tremendously. I think there is a trial version. If you have ant questions about AudioSwift I'm happy to help! /Regards
  9. David and Mark! Thank you for your valuable input to put me on the right track! It was a classical RTFM. It states clearly that Dynamics control volume in Studio Strings and in other Spitfire libraries, not the piano roll velocity. But yes, short articulations *are* controlled by piano roll velocity and long articulations by Dynamics. I use AudioSwift for controlling parameters. So I don't use a ModWheel as such. It is so far best practise for my workflow. I prefer working with AudioSwift and not with the knobs on my MKP when it comes to parameters. Again, thank you for taking the time to answer. Wish you a good weekend! Regards
  10. Thank you both, David and Mark, for your informative answers. I will try them out tomorrow with a fresh and rested brain! /Regards
  11. Hi! I have a really annoying problem. I use Logic X 10.4.7 and when I use third part samples (Spitfire via Kontakt) the velocity changes I make in the piano roll does not play back. Hopefully this has to do with my inexperience, never the less its extremely frustrating. I also removed ALL automation from the track, same result. I looked and read A LOT OF POSTS on similar problems, but I came up short of an answer. I enclosed some pictures that might help to resolve this issue. When working with instruments from Logic everything works fine. The problem only occurs when using 3rd party samples. 1. Piano roll. Velocity set to 64 2. Piano roll. Velocity set to 1. There is NO CHANGE in the outgoing sound. Same level. Here are also the settings for the region and track. 3. Settings in the Spitfire library Really thankful for any help in this matter Regards, Niclas
