  1. Hello, I know Logic's Score Editor well ... and enjoy it. However, to edit tablatures with the objectives that you state, I recommend that you use the xml format to switch either to free dedicated software (muse score) or to paid software Sibélius, Dorico etc ... I am a classical guitarist and I spent many hours trying to achieve polyphonic tablature with LOgic using all the possibilities of the neck of the guitar. I think I have tried everything It's impossible! Good results are obtained only with guitar solos. On the other hand, the results obtained when writing for the score (without the tablature) can be good with Logic.
  2. Hello Dewdman42? Thanks for your various expert articles here and elsewhere ... I have the script for Kontakt that I am already using. I wanted to compare the two solutions. How to decrypt the "Thanos" script? All encoding appears on line 16 ...
  3. I downloaded the excellent script "Thanos.03", to manage the delay of cinematic studio string, kindly provided by its creator NOamL. When I opened it in Logic's script, it seemed distorted to me. All the code is written on line 16 of the script! NB : My other scripts appear them in a conventional way with Logic 10.4.4. under Mojave. If anyone has the original script (in good shape), it would be great to send it here. Thanks in advance.
  4. Why is my picture in png format not attached?
  5. Hello everyone. I am on Mojave with Logic 10.4.4. For a few days the use of my sustain pedal has given curious results: It sends too much information on channel 64 when it is activated and deactivated ... No problem hearing. But on the other hand in the score I have an accumulation of conventional signs for the use of the pedal. The attached photo sums up the problem well ... I have several times the sign "ped" superimposed! As for the usual end of pedal sign (the star), it is hidden behind a cluster of "Ped". Of course, I can do the cleaning in one of the different windows visible on the attached photo, but it's time-consuming! I rather compose "at the table" in the score (there is no problem placing the signs that have the expected midday effect) but also sometimes by playing directly on the piano and there the pb that I mention arises! Thank you in advance for your advice...
  6. Hello Atlas 007. I finally solved this by correctly installing the driver for my master keyboard for Mojave! From High Sierra the installation procedure is more complicated ! Thank you for your help.
  7. Hello Atlas007. Thanks for your help. I had already done everything you describe, except resetting the SMC and NV/Pram. I will try this.
  8. Hello, I use Logic on a mac mini (late2012) and I call on the skills of "Logicians" for a "peripheral" problem ... I did a clean install of Mojave with incredible giddiness: I forgot to disconnect my master keyboard! Is this the reason why now, with the latest version of Mojave and the corresponding Roland driver, the A-49 piano is not recognized by the mac mini (no usb power supply) ... If you have any idea to fix this problem, thank you already. Important precision this same A-49 works perfectly under Window ...
  9. In the meantime, luckily we have the music to clear our minds ... Good afternoon ... Here it is 7 p.m.
  10. Thank you very much ... thank you Volovicg. for your precious help. I get what I wanted with your settings ... Effectively by setting the style 1 + 2/3 + 4 in this way we have a solution ... We then add, if necessary) stems to the other notes of the voices 3 and 4 by selecting them and going through the "attribute" menu. It's perfect. I'm not ready to leave Logic's Score Editor which I've always enjoyed. We always find more or less rapid solutions for the most "extreme" writings ... Thank you for sharing your expertise ...
  11. Excusese me ... By observing your photo carefully, in fact I realize that we do not have the same settings for the 1 + 2/3 + 4 style !!!! I'll try with your settings and come back here after.. Thanks a lot for your help...
  12. What I see in your photo is exactly the score I want to get from Logic's native 1 + 2/3 + 4 style. My settings in the style window are exactly the same as yours (channels etc) ... Yet with that same style and settings as you, I can't seem to get that ... What interests me above all is the correct look of the score.
  13. Thank you for your prompt response. Excuse me for my lack of fluency in English ... I am French. (nobody is perfect) In my examples I closed the "exploded" polyphonic representation ... So it's normal to see only two staves. For future complex piano pieces 4 polyphonic voices might sometimes be useful, but I find that the 1 + 2/3 + 4 style does not allow using the procedures that work very well in other polyphonic styles ... Maybe you noticed that too, so I wanted to make sure that I hadn't missed anything in the possibilities of the 4-voice style ... Having said that, my examples written in three voice polyphonic styles prove that we can at least write this with Logic ... and so it is already very good. We can always manage to write a 4th voice in this context.
  14. Hello volovicg , Thank you for all the expert help you provide on this forum ... I want to get what we see on the 2 photos but with the style 1 + 2/3 + 4 ... What I have put as an example, I got it with the polyphonic styles: 1/2 + 3 1/3 and 1 + 2/3 ... all with satisfactory procedures described by you or Peter Schwartz or Jay Asher. It suits me already, but maybe by setting a personal polyphonic style I will manage to have it with 4 voices ... Thank you for your message and your suggestions.
