  1. I've just checked and this is how things have been saving
  2. I wasn't playing with a click or setting the bpm, is that where I have been going wrong?
  3. I was just wondering incase I change computer in the future as I'm close to running out of space. I have located the Logic folder with all Logic Pro Projects, is everything (like all the audio data) stored in that one file so that if I move it to another computer it will still work?
  4. One thing I've wondered for a while is how to create a guitar piece in logic (one that is possibly hard to play over and over), and then be able to extend the track but for it to still all be in time. Whenever I try this and extend the track, it is never in time with the original. There is always an extended gap between the 1st loop and 2nd loop. I've noticed others do this with ease but whenever I try it it doesn't work, I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
  5. I was wondering if its possible to save my stereo out setup, say if I've got 4 plugins in there I'd like to be able to load them up easily without having to go through finding the plugin selecting it and moving the knobs every time. Every time I start a new project I have to start from scratch and load them all up separately.
  6. I've done that and I can see how it records now. The part I'm struggling with is. 1. Find Taiko/Low Drum samples. - I can see where I lower octave on the keyboard, and when doing so the sound the key's make changes. But confused about Tiako/low drum samples?
  7. I've loaded all the plugins now and have loaded the orchestral kit. I'm struggling with the rest of the advice though. I'm not sure where to find Taiko/Low Drum samples, I have a Oxygen 49 keyboard if it helps that I've not used in Logic before.. Bare in mind that I've never done any of this before, I don't even know how to record it. I am only used to recording guitar. This is my screen
  8. Hi, many thanks for the tips. Is this the area you meant? I can't seem to see the options you suggested, unless I need to install the big plugin update that Logic said on first install. Also I selected New Software Instrument track which I assume is right.
  9. I've wasted hours not having a clue how to create a simple drum. I've looked on Youtube and they suggest new drummer track but when I go to that I just get automated stuff and its impossible to get what I'm trying to achieve on that. This is what I'm trying to replicate incase someone can help me. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HgrROcgplNAigzg2PXhEhvQErfSlrmV3/view?usp=sharing
  10. I wasn't sure where to post this and I can't find a FCP forum. If I've recorded one track in Logic, and taken a video of me playing that song. So both video and my logic track will have the same audio, just logic will be improved so I'd like to replace the audio with that. My issue is when I go into FCP, I put the video (with camera audio) into the project. Then I put my Logic file into the project by dragging it down under the video file. But it's never lined up. It goes to where I dragged it to. I have to zoom in and line the waveforms up and then detach the camera audio from the video and delete that so then I have the correct audio track with the video and in sync. Is there a quicker way to achieve this? I was hoping they'd be a way for the program to match the two audio files up.
  11. I can definitely only hear the guitar, not the effects until I play the track back. Direct monitoring means nothing to me so unsure what to do for that (Apollo interface)
  12. Software monitoring was already ticked
  13. Thanks, hadn't noticed that. It's empty though I think because I didn't install the sounds at the start. It seemed to require a lot of space to install and I don't have the biggest hard drive.
