  1. I have found what causes this problem : My tracks has been generated by Synfire and begins with two Control events (Modulation and Expression) after Program change. If I delete these two Control events, the problem disappears.
  2. Logic version : 10.7.8 Computer : iMac Intel or MacbookPro M1 I have 5 tracks Only a track has the problem : If playing is stopped and then restarted, this track is muted until I select again an instrument for this track.
  3. Now, each time I relaunch Logic, I get the error message 'The link to the sound librarylocation has been modified', and a lot of installed library files are again incomplete after accepting Link. The result is that I need to reload and install most of files of the Library after each launch of Logic. The size of the 'Logic' directory on the external disk is 56,6GB.
  4. Hello,I have the Sound Library on an external link. When I launch Logic, i get frequently an error signalling that the library link has been lost, and asking if If I want to restore it. I accept to restore the link. Although the whole Library was fully installed at last execution, a lot of files are now incomplete. I load again all the incomplete files. This has been occurred several times.
  5. I think i will use the external instrument. Following your suggestion on this forum, i have already use it with the plugin « Chord Potion » to put the chords on a track using this plugin, and route the MIDI output of that External Instrument plug-in to an IAC Bus, towards several tracks processed by the plugin and having different midi channel numbers. Thanks for your help. I will download the update of your book.
  6. The musical effect is Feel Your Sound "Melodic Flow". It modifies the notes I enter to keyboard following rules like Only notes belonging to chords, or to chords+scale, .... The output notes are played but cannot be recorded. It is the reason why the editor suggests me to redirect the output modified notes to another track that I can record.
  7. Is it possible with Logic Pro X to route the output notes of a software instrument track (resulting from a plugin processing) to another track that i register ?
  8. Hello, I try to apply following instructions to use Logic with Feelyoursoud ChordPotion : Logic Pro X Unfortunately, Logic Pro X doesn't provide a way to route the MIDI channels to different instrument channels internally. But you can work with a virtual MIDI cable and re-route the notes this way. Here's how: PS: It is also possible to use Blue Cat's PatchWork to make multi-channel MIDI possible with a third party solution. Create a new virtual MIDI cable called "ChordPotionCable". You can find a guide for this here: http://feelyoursound.com/setup-midi-os-x/. Add ChordPotion to the MIDI effect section of a track. Add an instrument of type "External Instrument" to the same track. Set the "MIDI Destination" to "ChordPotionCable" and the "MIDI Channel" to "All". Create two other tracks and add a synth plug-in to each of them. Click on the first instrument track and make sure that the information section is visible (click on the "i" icon at the top left of the Logic Pro X window). Click on the "Track" header. Take a look at the "MIDI Channel" field. Pick the MIDI channel that you want to route from ChordPotion to the instrument. Repeat the last two steps and route another MIDI channel to the second instrument. Now click on the recording markers ("R" icon) of the two different instrument channels. They need to be active so that the MIDI notes can go through. I do not understand how I can add an instrument of type "External Instrument", following David Nahmani "Logic Pro X 10.4" or Apple Logic Pro X User Guide, and I do not know if these instructions apply to Logic 10.4 or an older version. Can someone give me help ?
