  1. Hello, Forgive me if this isn't the correct thread but does anyone know of any built in or 3rd party pluggin's that are very similar to a Fender Supersonic and Bassman? Thanks, Joe
  2. Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well! I'm looking to start writing/creating some guitar or bass riffs/melodies to use with some lyrics I've written and just to get some song ideas down really. I don't own a guitar so was looking to do it through MIDI or software instruments if possible. I've had a quick play with the on-screen MIDI keyboard in Logic and the software instrument guitars I had but am a complete beginner when it comes to this sort of stuff, but I want to dive in and get involved. I've listed some questions bellow if anyone can help with answering them. - What do I require to get started in terms of sounds, plugins or features? - How can I get them sounding like actual riffs rather than just individual notes on a synth or piano? - Can I use effects pedals to change the sound? - Am I able to download more Software instruments as I wasn't massive on the sounds I had. Any help appreciated! Cheers, Joe
  3. Hi David, Thanks for the welcome! That answer is exactly what I wanted to hear, I think the reality of me buying a bass just got closer.
  4. Hi guys, just joined so forgive me if this isn't in the correct thread. I'm looking to get a bass to start writting some songs on and was wondering if Logic Pro X can be used to add effects. So rather than having loads of different pedals I can just run my bass into logic via an interface and add effects on there like Fuzz, Distortion, Octave shifters and so on. Cheers, Joe
