  1. As the title of the topic says, my Prophet 6 is cutting off notes. FYI the MIDI Channel on both the instrument and plugin are the same. When I monitor directly from my Interface's software mixer its normal so something is going on inside of Logic... Help!
  2. It’s here guys and it’s good one. been waiting on some of these features so thanks Apple! Nested track stacks New gain tool Record midi fx to tracks Ableton link support
  3. I wish Logic would do this as well but I really don’t think you can move the selection up/down. Fingers crossed the dev team will implement it one day
  4. Here you go folks I’m gonna get this downloaded tomorrow https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203718
  5. Although not supported I can confirm it works as expected with no issues. I normally bounce midi parts to audio so maybe if your concerned try that so you have a audio copy in case of any gremlins!
  6. THIS!!!! this is driving me insane - 2 major projects I’m working on and the automation is completely out of whack and is out of time!! Everything is set up properly but it’s to do with the delay compensation. Also the GUI is massively out of time when viewing gain reduction / analysers!! Seems like automation and UI isnt compensated on 10.7.2??
  7. Right after some testing I’m still getting midi timeout errors I can recreate the problem every time by playing in Logic and then in the Library and changing patches. Does it every time however it does it randomly when executing some functions. New keyboard on the way for me I think. Komplete Kontrol while the holiday sales are on. Hopefully I’ll get a refund, but I’m sure I can sell it if now
  8. I’ve just received a new one from Focusrite/Novation. I will give it a try but I don’t have a lot of confidence as you said you tried 3 keyboards? If it doesn’t work I’m gonna try and get a refund and just get a Komplete Kontrol or something I will report back….
  9. Turn off ‘Flex & Follow’ in the inspector and cha get the gain back to 0. I think you can turn this all off by default in project settings - tempo
  10. Yep and have been on a tech support who have offered me a new keyboard but I don’t want it. I want a unit that woks with Logic
  11. Oh man I feel you pain as I have the exact problem. Constantly getting midi timeout errors when the keyboard is on. Not getting them when it is off. Have trashed all prefs, updated drivers etc… I’m gonna sell it and get a new keyboard as I think it is affecting Logic’s performance
  12. Hi same problem for me as well. Solved the issue but creating a folder on my desktop and dragging everything out of the Components folder and into there to see if it is plug-in related. I suspect your issue is probably most likely the same and you won’t get the beachball if you follow these steps - Drag all the components out and into a empty folder on the desktop. Open Logic. Does it play back? If so… Drag half of the components back to the original folder and see if it still works or if you get the beachball. If you work in chunks you’ll soon narrow it down and find the culprit!! Mine was Acustica’s Greg Well’s compressor. An update fixed the issue. Hope this helps
  13. Turn off RX start/stop in the utility so the TR8 won’t play back twice when playing back from Logic Works for me
  14. It’s the same with with me as well. I’ve changed the snap setting from smart (it’s not very smart) to Devision - and then made key commands for 1/4 1/8 1/16 1/32. If you don’t wanna do that move the play head to the bar or beat you want to snap to and Hit “;” which is pickup clock (should be called move to playhead in my opinion) Hope that offers some help
  15. Battery 5 is the most up to date version. I would try about upgrading to that If you can’t, try trashing NI Battery Preferences and/or reinstall
