  1. I tried to remove and not use the usb hub, but the problem persistis. It happened there was 10min ago and the sound made a glicth and a very high frequency sound that just stopped when I removed the the firewire cable and turned off the MOTU interface.
  2. I'm using a hub usb tp link uh700 with a external HD connected and a midi controller too.
  3. I'm using the Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD464LL/A/apple-thunderbolt-to-firewire-adapter).
  4. Yes, I already did it, but I'm not sure if this could work with this problem in specific. Could this be a software or hardware problem? or maybe both? haha Before installing OS X Mojave I was using El Capitan and I remember to have the same problem, but I also was using the MOTU with a USB cable and power supply not the firewire cable.

  6. Bad news: the audio glitches and clipping came back ;( The sound that was playing stops and It starts a very high sound frequency during 15s, then all sounds stop and nothing plays. Sometimes I have to restart my MOTU to work again. Anybody can help? Thinking in downgrade to previous OS X. Should this work? I'm using OS X Mojave (10.14.6) and the most recent driver on the MOTU website (v1.6.83634 | Jan. 2, 2020). Thank you!
