  1. Hi to you all... I just can't believe that Logic keeps getting back to the default folder when Bouncing project or section... someone has a "trick" (could be illegal;) for Logic to open MY default folder when bouncing, the folder where I always bounced my songs?! Thanks! Clyde
  2. Thanks David! It's a good thing to know! Clyde
  3. Hi! I was wondering, let's say... I have a Reverb on Bus 8, it's open in a track and affects it if it's in the new audio track when you do a Bounce in place?! Because I just saw that Logic automatically puts the same Bus on the new audio track that it creates so I'm a little confused....? Thanks, David ;) Clyde
  4. I'm... isn't that that the first songs I created in this folder were in the "folder" format? So Logic automatically puts all the other songs created in this folder in the Audio file folder of this "general folder"...? I'll make tests to see....
  5. Yeah that’s why I once changed it for the folder option but… because every time I was searching an audio file the « package » format blocked me… but there was also a downside for the folder format… cause I came back to it… I think it’s because if you create a folder.. let’s say all the songs for an album… so first folder Logic, then you want to have a folder for your album so you create a folder called The Wall, but I think in the folder Logic automatically creates all the audio files folder and other stuff… so now you have to create the first song (another folder!) you called of course In The Flesh… and that will makes a lot of f***g folders… and I think that some things will just go in those first folders Logic created in the The Wall folder, whatever the song you’re in… anyway one makes a lot of folders and it becomes confusing and the other becomes a problem when the « We can locate that X audio file »
  6. Ok here's what happened... for anyone getting a thing like this... (and don't have smoking some pot... cause it's a little bit complexe;) in a folder where I putted all the songs for the same album, I had 2 o 3 songs which were in a "folder" format (not in a package) but the song I'm taking about where all files were missing was created in a package format. 2 or 3 day ago I decided to save all the songs in that folder in a "package" format. So those songs re-saved in a package format works well because the waves of each songs has been saved in their pack, but i realized that since the first songs created in this album folder, all the waves files from the songs in that folder were saved in a more "general folder for all the songs called Audio files folder. Since I had "copied" the audio files in their package when re-saving them, those were fine, but the first was still putting all the audio files in the more general "Audio file" present in the album folder where all the songs were. f*%@... so anyway I found them! In an older version in TimeMachine, when I hadn't put the "folder songs" in package forms... anyway... I have trouble understanding myself, but good news I can just copy the audio files in the "problematic" song pack where they should be. And I'll go take a nap.... thanks!
  7. Hey Polaroid! Yeah no it’s an internal drive, it’s just that I changed the one HDD for an SSD in my iMac… it’s a SATA Internal Physical Volume • Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and so all the « system files », the OS and the apps are installed on the « blade » of the motherboard, a 256GB SSD, and all my large files are on my 2TB SSD internal. It was the best way to setup my 2015 iMac with a « fusion drive ». But anyway… every other songs are all set in the same way and there’s no problem… ?
  8. The only thing I can think of... is I remember I was about to record with my mic and I always close the external drive because it's doing a little hiss sound.... so I close it without "ejecting" it... and he said of couse it's dangerous everything will explode take your kids to a shelter and stuff... but those were not the drives were I the waves goes at all anyway....
  9. Anyone else have experienced this nightmare?! Went to work on a song I didn't touch for a about a week... OUps.. didn't find the wave... alright already been through this.... turns out EVERY waves are gone. Search all my drives, even if I restore this song with Time Machine, any version I restore there's just no files in the Media folder. Like if somebody just went to this folder and erased all the audio files... and it's only tis project, every other project are perfectly fine... ANY idea would be welcome... because I would have to record all the tracks again.... bases guitars, vocals.... see picture....
  10. Yeah I like that! Thanks 🙂
  11. Well that'll be another question for Dave! 😉 When I have a Drum Kit loaded in a song ... all the diff tracks appears under the Kit... let's say Liverpool... (see 2 pics) why it's just in the first track, which is usually "Overheads" that I can access/open the Drum Kit?! I'm sure there's a logical explanation... those drum kits are really organized in a way that I wouldn't be able to do and that's nice, but I always have to go to the Overheads track to open the instrument where you actually see the drum, where you can change the snare... and everything else... so simple... is there a more efficient way to access the Drum Kit when you're in the main window? Thanks!
  12. Oh....! I unchecked this because I was tired of seeing the "Help" thing in the track inspector each time I moved over something 😆 Thanks David... always the man 🫡
  13. Hi you! I have a pretty good recollection of when we move the volume level of a track or just passing over it with your mouse, Arrangement window or Mixer, we saw the dB level changing as we move up or down... and that don't show anymore for me... so in the Arrangement window I don't have any idea of the dB number when I'm moving it... other place I only see it at the top of the track... any ideas!??! I reinstalled Logic (10.6.3) about a week ago on Catalina (new SSD) and pretty sure it's then that this little indication disappeared... I have to say on Catalina, and I think 10.6.3 it's the higher version.... Thanks!
  14. Hi humans! I was wondering if someone has an idea about why the folder when bouncing keeps coming back to the Logic default folder? Doesn't stay where I chose to bounce the last time... Cheers, Clyde
