  1. I believe it when I see it! (hear it). Who's gonna put their neck on the line and say it's fixed?
  2. I’m trying out the three month free demo of Live Suite 11 and am absolutely blown away! I didn’t anticipate it to be this good. For anyone that produces electronic music I’d thoroughly recommend you try the demo. It’s fully functional and well worth checking out. Workflow is very different but really well thought out and I will definitely be buying a copy once the demo expires. Side chaining works flawlessly and in my opinion makes Logic look prehistoric. Apple should be embarrassed by their broken software, and judging by the number of people who’ve reported this bug, they should be well aware of it yet there is no communication and no sign of any fix. Perhaps it’s not straightforward and the code needs rewriting from scratch but someone from Apple could at least comment here and give a heads up. I’ve been a Logic user since the days of Emagic (still got my box with the mauve swirly thing on it) but it’s finally time to move on to software that actually works. I suggest that anyone who is seriously into electronic music production go download the demo from Ableton and judge for yourself. Don’t take my word for it! Logic’s GUI is clunky and outdated in my opinion. I guess it’s horses for courses when it comes down to choice of DAW and I appreciate not everyone can afford to chop and change. I really hope the day will come for those who continue to persevere with Logic and wait for a fix that’s been long overdue.
  3. Finally had enough of Apple’s Logic with broken side-chain compensation. We’ve all waited far too long for this fix, so today I decided to make the big switch to Live 11. I really hope this bug gets quashed for all Logic users who rely on plugin- side-chain compensation in their work. If it ever does, who knows, perhaps I might come back to Logic again one day.
  4. Can someone please advise? I have the channel eq analyser set to display in post mode, but when I turn the current track fader right down, it is still displaying like it would in pre fade mode. I'm running Logic 10.6.1 in Catalina 10.15.7. Is there something I've overlooked or is this a bug? Cheers.
  5. Jeeez... They really knocked their row out with these fixes!
  6. Hello I'm fairly new here so please accept my apologies if I am posting in the wrong place. I have upgraded my Arturia Collection to 7.2 and have noticed that when I insert the Jupiter 8-v as a first instrument on starting a new project, Logic sometimes quits unexpectedly. The bug is temperamental and I have attached the start of a long crash report. I have the full report if someone should want it. The workaround I have is to insert an empty channel strip and then add the Jupiter 8-v on the mixer channel. I've not encountered the same problem using this method. I'm currently running OSX 10.15 with Logic Pro X 10.5.1. Would be grateful for any suggestions. Cheers, Dylan

  8. Perhaps not, but if that’s the case then Apple shouldn’t state that Logic applies plug-in delay compensation to the playhead in their release notes. There is no excuse, especially when other DAW manufacturers can make it work in their products. If this is an oversight, it sure is one big oversight! What’s going on Apple? Would really appreciate it if someone over there could perhaps chime in or at least enlighten us on the current situation. If not, I too will be moving to Cubase.
