I can load up my Spitfire BBCSO Orchestra patches with the default single mikes fine.
But when I try to load the other mic positions (close, tree, room etc) my 64GB Ram gets eaten up in moments and Logic becomes unworkable.
The only way I can then work with the track is to Freeze all the tracks, and then un-freeze one by one as I want to work on them, refreezing again to move on to another track.
A bit tedious, a but of a bore, but it does work!
I was just wondering if there was any preferred workflow or advantages to using Bounce in Place instead of Freezing tracks?
I have sometimes found my freezings tracks have no sound, and I have to unfreeze, reload the patch, and then re-freeze. Maybe BIP in a more 'solid' solution?
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!
