  1. Thanks @rAC will keep going with it!
  2. Hello David, I haven't contacted them yet. I'll do that now, fingers crossed
  3. yes having been trying at different times. It's strange because with the earlier version of Logic i didn't have this problem when i needed to download the instruments. Only with the update. Strange. I'll let you know
  4. still the same problem after moving the sounds... might have to find somewhere with a really fast internet
  5. Thanks for your help. I've tried for a week now.. i'm doing what you suggested and putting the sounds in an external hard drive. See if that works.
  6. This is the one I'm using now and also went to use someone else's internet to try that out, the same thing happened Could it be that my computer needs more storage? Should I remove things off the computer and try
  7. I've tried those options also. I tried downloading individually in the sound manager. Also, uninstalled logic and reinstalled it again. Not sure what I could try next.
  8. Hello, thanks for your reply. Here is a screen shot. It just continues to stay on zero kb and then after a few minutes says unable to download...
  9. Hello, I'm struggling to download the essential sounds library. I have just purchased the newest version of Logic but it won't let me download the new sounds. the KB don't even move from zero. I've tried with a different internet connection and have 173GB of storage left on my computer. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Thank you.
  10. It takes quite a while. Thanks for your advice. I'll work a way around it
  11. Yes, I know I can easily switch but there was a way I've seen that doesn't need to wait to initialise core audio and wait for all the plug ins and sounds to load. I've seen someone switch between the two and nothing has to be loaded again.
  12. I know someone has done it to my computer before and was able to change easily between.. but I can't remember how. It's only so I don't have to bounce the whole track each time I wan't to listen to how it sounds on laptop speakers... Is there another plug in that is able to do it?
  13. Yes it's on system settings for audio output. Just tried it again.. but it's having to initialise core audio when ever I switch over even when on 'system setting'. I have a macbook pro 2019, macOS mojave 10.14.6 and I'm running 10.4.6 logic pro version. Ah ok, I'll go add one on my profile now. Thanks
  14. I have the audio preferences in the icon menu and switched it to system settings... but when I switch over from speakers to interface on the audio menu bar it then has to go through the load up and initialises core audio. Isn't able to do it without loading all sounds again.
  15. Thanks for your reply. I've tried that but it doesn't seem to work or enable me to switch back and forth to the macbook speakers. I do own one of those big knob audio monitor controllers but don't have it plugged in right now. Would that do anything to help the situation?
