  2. Which sampling rate and bit depth is used for the original EXS24 sample in Logic Pro 8?? is it 44.1kHz/24bit or what?
  3. hi, guys~ I know this is Logic Pro Help, but I guess it is the best place to ask this kind of question. (I couldn't get any answers from apple iTunes forum.) As a musician, I'm wondering how Apple iTunes decides which song is gonna be linked and provided as free download every week. Are there any applications to fill out or is it just a part of random process? or do we have to make a contract with record company? I know there should be many musicians who have already updated their music on iTunes store. please share the information~ Thanks! p.s. oops, David, please move this thread to the right place. my mistake, sorry!
  4. David and Rob~! Thanks a lot for the answer~! p.s. David, not about mod wheel but about mouse wheel~ ^^;;;;;
  5. is it possible to control the volume fader with mouse wheel? (not about a remote control setting) I've heard that it's possible in Cubase. but couldn't figure out how to do it in Logic. is it really possible? It'll be really convenient if we can controll the volume fader by mouse wheel when the mouse cursor is over the volume slider on any channel strips.
  6. Thanks a bunch~ guys~! Let me make a summary, the Aiff format apple loops show "Loop-the-Loop" symbol, and, the Caf format apple loops show "Circle between two lines" symbol. I learned a lot from your lines, thanks~!
  7. Thanks a lot for your reply and your doing some investigation. that's an interesting issue. The file on the picture was dragged from apple loops, "chimes 01" the first thing in the morning I'll also do some more testing in my studio. (by the way i'm in Asia, now) Cya~!!
  8. It looks different from stereo audio file and stereo apple loops file. What does this symbol mean?? Thanks~!
  9. I see!! ^^ Thanks a bunch~ Eric,Chico, and Spectacle~!
  10. when play the bounced file (PCM format) with quicktime player or iTunes,,, it sounds different from LP8 even though it's bounced with the same sampling rate and bit resolution. is it just caused by EQ setup on iTumes and quickTime player?? or what??

  15. I'm not sure if this issue has been already mentioned on this forum. I just solved really interesting problem, crash between FCP and Logic Pro 8 If you tries to install FCS 2 after having installed LS, you'll be in trouble.... --;;;; (FCS 2 can be installed easily except FCP 6) read this, http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306567 hopefully, this can help some people to live their lives happily....!! p.s. btw,,, Good news is,,,, Logic doesn't seem to be affected by FCS at all... (Only FCP is drunken by LS... ^^;
