  1. I appreciate the effort, but I am looking for someone who can help me do this on my own. This co-operation is making profit off of this by offering it built into the cards; which I don't need. I am looking for the devices themselves and someone who can teach me how to record on them and where to get the devices in bulk somehow; I don't need the cards.
  2. I assume you mean something by this but I do not find what I am looking for. There's load of sites listing wav sample files, of course, but that is not what I am looking for. I also did find one of those devices to record on, but they cost about 16 bucks a piece. I am looking for at least 25 or something; they must be cheap somewhere, right? Those christmas cards aren't all that expensive either... Did you find anything else with those terms?
  3. Hey hello, Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with getting custom recordings on those sound module device type-thingies that are used in those cheesy musical Christmas cards. You know, the ones that play a little tune when you open them. I would love to be able to record on a bunch of them, specifically someone speaking, saying something, and have it work in the same way as in the cards; that they activate when you open a page. My idea is to make a book with them. But I'm finding it hard to find where I can buy exactly what I am looking for (hopefully in bulk, and on the cheaper side) and knowing how to use them. If anyone has any experience with this, or knows someone who could help, it would be much much appreciated! Much love, Finya
  4. Hey hey, I recently bought a new macbook, one of the M1's, and am very happy. I have only run into one issue so far. I run OS Big Sur and Logic 10.15.1 on it, when I previously had Catalina. Everything works fine, but the look of the new track dialogue's a bit different. My laptop is in dark mode, and the whiteness of the window along with the misty/blur on the rest of the screen because of it, I find it a bit of a stark contrast and it catches me off guard, it is a little bit head-ache inducing when I am working on a project and it switches between this dark-oriented to this bright screen. Is there anyway to adjust this? Get rid of the blurry effect? Or maybe make this window in its entirety darker? I know it might seem arbitrary but it does bother me. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hey hello everyone, In these last weeks of my vacation I've been producing songs just for fun, and I've started to mess around with beats/precussion. I'm not that experienced with it; neither behind the keyboard nor on stage, percussion is just not something that comes naturally to me, and I tend to write songs that do not really rely on it. I find it super hard to actually get a proper beat going, or to know what sound I am actually looking for, when I am not working with drum kits or the drummer tracks. So, I've now, once or twice, turned to Apple Loops, as it's just a complete package, and I find it easier to hear what I like, and what I don't. The only problem is that most of the loops I come across are Audio loops, and they massively limit my freedom. I've already used one once, and cut it up to change around some stuff, but there's still limitations. I was wondering if Apple's Audio loops are made with sounds I can find in Logic? And if so, how do I track these down, and could I use them as MIDI somehow? And otherwise; is there a way to sample specific sound I like from Apple loops? Besides this, any tips surrounding making beats in Logic are more than welcome. Am a bit overwhelmed by it all, haha. Love, KleinDing
  6. Hey hello lovely people, I have noticed with one of my songs that I have been working on for some time, that whenever I bounce it, some parts of the lead cut out. My lead is chopped up and all in loose parts like this: But whenever I listen to it through Logic, it works fine, no cut out lead. The parts it end up cutting out at the beginning also vary per bounce: it's not consistent. But it is always at the beginning of a region. Almost as if Logic is like "oh shoot I forgot, I need to play the lead now", and then starts playing it; a little late. I know this project is quite CPU heavy; it's got over a hundred tracks, a lot of them audio, and quite some Space Designers, but it's not up to the point that it gives me system overload or anything, so I haven't gone and made it a little easier on my laptop, yet. I was just wondering what is causing this, and what I can do to fix it. I mean, I can bounce over and over again until I have a version where the lead is completely smooth; but that feels kinda luck based at this point.
  7. Hey everyone, I've been using Logic for quite some time but never ran into an issue before that I actually couldn't fix myself/look up and find the answer to, on here. But now I've run into something and it is driving me crazy, so I thought I'd make an account and ask for help. The last few days when I am mixing or recording, seemingly randomly, this noise starts happening: It is very loud and scares the s#!+ out of me every time. It stops when I uncheck and check the core audio box and apply changes, unplug my interface, or switch my interface's sample rate briefly to 48 kHz and then back to 44.1 So it isn't persistent, I can easily make it go away, but it is annoying nonetheless. I am using Logic Pro X 10.4.4 and I still use mac OS Sierra. My interface is a Scarlett 2nd gen 6i6 and it is connected to two Presonus Eris E5's. The only thing that has changed in my setup recently is the location. I moved my interface and monitors to my window, 'cause I set there often now. As you can see, my laptop is perched on top of my interface and my monitor are quite close to it. However, this issue didn't show up until three or four days after this change. I also installed two programs called Blackhole and Ladiocast to try and run my Logic through zoom for an exam for conservatory this Monday (which didn't even work). No idea if they might have anything to do with it, but I'll uninstall 'em. Any tips very welcome. Thanks in advance!
