    Bus Bug

Logic 10.6 Mac Mini 10.15.6 8 drum tracks organized in a summing stack output of drum tracks to bus 1 summed track input from bus 1 output to Stereo Output I hit space bar, the track starts and I hear audio. I hit space bar to stop the track, when I hit space bar to restart there is no audio even though the individual drum track meters are jumping. No audio is getting to the summed track via bus 1 If I change the outputs on the individual drum tracks to Stereo Output I get sound, albeit without the processing on the summing track; switch outputs back to bus1 = no audio. If I make any changes to the Project Sample Rate or Audio Devices preferences for example. I get the first instance of playback but then then the process repeats as above. This happens even if I flatten the Summing Stack and make the drums output to an Aux Track via Bus 1. Only work around is setting all the outputs to Stereo Output. This just started happening to me today!
  2. BUS 1 Should be Drum summing stack BUS 2 Should be Guitar summing stack BUS 3 Should be Vocal Verb Aux Channel BUS 4 Should be Vocal Compression Aux Channel BUS 5 Should be Vocal FX Aux Channel BUS 6 Should be HiString Guitar Bus BUS 7 Should be Music Bus BUS 8 Should be Vocal Bus On the left side of the screen shot the send architecture is still in place, but on the right side the yellow busses are all faders at zero, no input selectable.
  3. Yes, automatic management is checked. The same thing happened to me again in another session just now. I was doing something totally unrelated--adding a new audio track, duplicating a region to that track--and my bussing architecture just went haywire.
  4. same thing just happened to me again, track stack summed aux channel strip just became some other type of input channel and can't select bus input. Can I change the type of strip it is our I have to create a new aux channel strip?
  5. here is track inspector image. did it get converted to a MIDI track?
  6. My track stack just lost all the controls except Mute, Solo (doesn't work), and Setting (and the only settings available are Legacy). What gives? I've never seen this before. I Quit, Restarted, same thing. Don't know when exactly it happened, I was bouncing-in-place a bunch of tracks in the stack but I didn't try to bip the Stack itself. Logic 10.4.8 Mac OSX 10.13.6
